When the Leafs managed to beat this team earlier in the season they used Bolland to shadow Ovi and shut him down. They don't have Bolland or the organization/skill/speed to do that again. Leafs have looked slow against slow teams lately (NYR playing on no rest not Carolina) and the Caps will make them look geriatric and expose their sloppy play. Resulting in penalties. Resulting in Capital Goal after Capital Goal.
Highly doubt the Leafs have a bounce back game tonight after that 6-1 beating they took last night.
Caps are feeling good coming home after a road win against a tough rival. The Leafs are desert for one of the leagues best offences. Factor in the time they spend in the box and the Caps PP and the Caps should win this one easy and the total should also easily go over 5.5 with Holby starting for the Caps and the Leafs D on vacation. I like Toronto here I feel like this line is way to high.  Imo line should be around wash -140 with both teams playing back to back i think there is value on the road dog here.  Toronto got embarrassed last night in Carolina and they will be looking to answer.  Gl all

Dave Bolland has been out of the lineup since noverber 2nd or 3rd, that game against the caps was november 23rd, Bolland was not playing, and was not shadowing Ovie.

You're right congrats!!! They used Clarkson to shadow Ovi a technique that won't be effective here because they don't have home ice and can't line match. Basically the point is the same. Won't be a 2-1 this time. Probably closer to 5-3. BOLTA
