I like the Devils to win tonight in a early lean.Waiting for all goalies to be confirmed to start. Brodeur is confirmed to start for New Jersey. Anti Raanta is likely to start for Chicago. Chicago in a back-to-back tonight and the Devils are on 2 days rest.

NJ is 3-0-2 at home in their last five. Chicago is 2-2-2 on the road in their last six games and they try to avoid losing 3 straight away from home.

The Blackhawks are 1-6-3 in their last 10 games in New Jersey since the 99/00 season. Brodeur saw most of the action vs Chicago; in 20 games vs Chicago he is 9-3-2 with a 1.95 GGA and a .933 %Sv. In his last 8 at home he 7-0-1 with a 1.46 GAA.

Leaning: NJD

I'm with you on this one tonight "BlackBaller". I know Chicago is the superior team here but honestly they haven't been playing to their true selves lately. Jersey been playing better of late as well so going with the home dogs tonight !!!!

                   DEVILS WIN !!!

NJ is a pretty nasty team to play against when its a home stand revenge type of game as this one is. The wounds from that 5-2 beating they took are still fresh. It ain't going to be pretty but it'll be a NJ win. Brodeur is solid as long as he's rested

At first glance, Hawks for sure not going to lose 2 in a row, but never a good idea to bet on a team on 2nd night of back to back, especially in a matchup without any grudges, or point ramifications.  I'm going to play 4 pools tickets on sportselect and take 2 v's and 2 H's.

And weather doesn't play any factor, these guys don't drive themselves.  Possibly the Hawks are 1/2 hr late to the rink or something, but not likely.

NJ owns the Hawks at home. If Crawford was playing I would lean Hawks but Raanta is in net tonight. Give me the Devils.

But Crawford was the goalie who was in the net for Chicago in their most recent loss in New Jersey in. Raanta was 8-1-2 with a 2.27 GGA during Crawford's injury, pretty darn good line I would say.
