Canes already beat the Caps twice in their own house, and the Caps are far better at home. Ergo I'm leaning toward the Canes to play a smart game and edge out a 3-2 win. The only thing I see going for the Caps is that the Canes are coming off a 3 day rest and that often results to a team playing a little stale in the first period, so they may fall behind early but Peters (likely starter) has been consistent and reliable and should be able to weather an early storm if needed. GLTA

Peters isn't starting here for the Canes. Ward gets the nod today.

I stand corrected. Daily Face off had Peters listed as likely earlier. So its Ward vs Grubauer. Neither one has been great so Im thinking the over is the way to go
