Oh my, as we say in the business, there is a high probability of a blowout factor in this one, as Memphis, a team that already is not that good is in the second game of a back to back situation. Couple that with the fact that they played against a powerhouse in Dallas the night before, and it becomes abundantly clear that they may be just a little tired.
Memphis has already had a fire sale, and is looking to the future/tanking this season for a high draft choice. What better team to lay down for than the Hornets, who are looking to build upon the double overtime shocker against the Suns the last time out.
They are injury free, and ready to reassert their dominance. They have watched all of the western conference teams get bettr, and know that they must win to keep up and maintain a decent seeding in the playoff hunt. You will not see the Hornets take anyone for granted the rest of the season. They will need every win that they can get. This game could be very ugly quickly.

Like Your insight CK, thank you. Keep me/us informed. I've been reading your B-Ball posts for a while and they have been useful.

Either way in that one Moneymaker, I think you are fine. Maybe take both? Could work out nicely
I'm riding some statistical analysis in this game, something I like to do on occasion. The Memphis Grizzlies are currently on a 5 game losing streak where the average loss is 11 points per game. This season they have been a very disappointing 2-8 SU in the 2nd game of a back-to-back. The average loss in those 8 games is 11 points. New Orleans isn't as good ATS at home as they are away, even though they are getting much better going 7-1 in their last 8 ATS at home. I'm going to say that this game will be won by the Hornets by 11 points just to keep those trends alive. In that case, my play is
Memphis +13.5
(Tough to say how a young, inexperienced team will bounce back after a road blowout)

After seeing how the heavyweights last night went through the motions to do just enough to get the win but not cover i'm inclined to believe the same might happen tonight. I'm hoping NO takes it easy like Boston did and keeps the Griz hanging around till the end.
