Tough pick for me. The Knicks seam to screw me up a lot, both ways. I want to go with the Bulls but I don't know.

Anyone considering the Knicks should also consider the Joey Crawford factor and the fact that visiting teams usually get the calls in there favor when he is ref

Last years opening night the public got destroyed.  6 teams were backed by 70% of the public and all 6 went 0-6 ATS.  Today 6 teams are again backed by 70% or more of the public.  The consensus underdogs in these match ups are:

Bucks +8 - Covered +8 last year opening night.
Boston PK
Hawks +4.5
Knicks +4
Jazz +3.5 - covered +6 last year opening night, and the team wasnt on a back to back.
Kings +4.5

Not one person can predict how a team will come out on opening night and Vegas uses public perception against every bettor.  I guarantee at least 4 of those teams will cover.

Vegas always collects on every opening night, so i have to back the knicks +4.  No ref is better at taking out the other teams best player and keeping the game close than Joey Crawford.  Expect the knicks to get away with a lot of fouls and Noah to pick up his 2nd foul before the 6 minute mark.  Theres a reason crawford is always reffing the national TV games that have have large amounts of bets placed on them.

Take the knicks +4, Vegas will make sure they cover.

new system for the knicks against the best defensive team. UNDER UNDER UNDER!!! I also like the Bulls -4 as well.

A bit off topic but you mention Joey Crawford. I have wondered in the past how tough Joey is ? I know he's in good shape just keeping up and functioning on the court and he has nuts as big as church bells the way he gets in players faces. But I wonder how he would do if push came to shove and he had to throw down. I can handle my own and often think how he would be in an actual fight.

I love the Bulls and if D. Rose can stay healthy all season they have as good a chance to make a long overdue trip to the Finals

But it's so early in the season and teams are still working out the kinks. I think the home teams have an edge right now on opening night

Bulls don't cover that well as road favorites with Rose or no Rose.

Bulls are the better team. Knicks will put up a fight. And I think the Bulls pull out a close win but Knicks cover.

Bulls win by 3 or 4.
