Thought you'd be with me on this one Whale... but this game is like a homecoming game with Garnett coming back in the lineup... The Celtics need a "pickmeup" game following three straight losses against Detroit, Dallas and Chicago...
What better way to get back to your winning ways than starting your best player after a 10 game hiatus? Couple that with this being at home and against a team that has almost as many injuries as GS... Portland will be without its star Brandon Roy and even with him, the Blazers struggle against the Celtics... Boston has covered 8 of the last 10 games against Portland including 4 straight covers at home (with Roy in the lineup)...
The players and the crowd will be pumped for this one... Portland won't score more than 85 in this one, as Boston will put the clamps down and should dominate the wounded visitors...

Small play on Boston and the Under...

Just curious - Why a small play with such a positive thread. Is Garnett going to make a big difference after being out 10 straight?

While the Celts will be working KG back into his rhythm Portland will be doing what they've been doing most of the season - Playing tough with 1/2 a team double D's look too good to pass up here the way Boston have been sleep walking lately -- Time to BLAZE 1 +10.5

Interesting angle........
I just don't think the first night back for K-GAR will be the 180 everyones waiting for. Teams adjust only over time when losing a big-man or the-man of the team, hence when he returns I think naturally theres the same 'gradual' adjustments, not overnight...........Having said that BOS is 1of the teams I stay clear of due to the huge swings in their covers or non for that matter

I really like Portland and the over tonight. With Roy out and Bayless in the line-up look for Blazers 3 guards to push the ball and create some easy buckets. Portland abandons the half game set when Roy is out and likes to run.

LOL If things don't pan out here, I might be wishing I stayed in bed.
Working on those NFL games watcher, they have me reeling this year. My only winners so far were the Jets over Bengals and the Saints over the Cardinals the rest were all losers.
