spurs have been good to me the last 3 games, but this is a perfect spot to go against them.  back to back for an older team coming off an overtime win vs the rival Mavs.  this is a classic letdown spot.  factor in the hawks nice road/dog ats mark this year, and i'll grab the points (have already moved from 9 to 7.5)

~Hawks +7.5~

darn - down the 6.5 now - i see a spurs win by 3-5.  this line wont go down further than 6.  spurs are playing too well right now.

under normal circumstances I'm taking the spurs but after a double OT game, the younger legs may fare better. coming home it could be a wash but I'll still side with atl +6.5.

There is a reson this line dropped from 9 to 6.5. Spurs were in one hell of a game last night with Dallas (2OT). They are old and will be tired in this one. Expect Atl to hang very close, if not win SU.

Atl +6.5

agent0, lets not get carried away now... they played an extra 2 5min. periods...not really close to 6 quarters...lets not add 14 game minutes,k?

Plus, the spurs are probably the deepest team in the NBA with the solid play of Mason and rookie Hill...I watched both of the games lastnite, and trust me, ATL will be tired also...and a touch demoralized after blowing a 9 or 10 point lead late in the 4th...don't count traveling for the spurs ,as it is a puddle jumper type flight and they are home, where they are almost unstoppable at full strength.

Dont get me wrong, some of them will be tired, but these guys are pro athletes...and they are not that old...make it sound like the Admiral still plays with them.

I see the Hawks hanging round for a half...maybe,then experience, leadership, and home crowd will be plenty enough to lift the spurs to a relatively easy win...plus great teams know how to close...therefore ATL is not a great team on the road against arguably one of the elite teams in the west, and I hate the Spurs.

Spurs 101-91

can you guys shut up about the spurs being "old" ..thats the worst excuse to take the other team if thats what it comes down to make a bet you suck and shouldnt even bet the game.

Kinda' suprised there's only been a little mention of the UNDER given the aforementioned factors.

San Antonio - 92                   Atlanta - 88
Hawks +6.5                under 189
Spurs usually do OK in second of back to back games, but this Hawk team should play well enough to keep this one close.

yeah, this year they are 3-3 ats/btb - but 20-30 the last 3 years (same core players).

tired legs not a factor early.  spurs by 8 after 1.

hawks walked out of the gate last night as well - lets see if they can settle down.
