If the line stays below 17, I'm still riding with the Pats next week. Ravens offense is horrible, and although they will likely be emboldened by the Eagles play last night, it goes both ways -- the Pats will be pumped for a physical game.
Thing is, I still see a lot of Pats backers and bettors feeling the same way, and driving the line up once again. Let's hope it's not pushed too far. You can expect a loud MNF crowd but the Ravens are a far cry of what they were in 2000, or even 2006.

Big injury update here... just heard Pats starting LB Rosey Colvin, who left with a foot injury Sun. night, will now go on IR and be out for the year.
On a positive note, Troy Brown will finally come off the pup list and be activated for Monday. TB can make a difference on offense, defense, or special teams. But losing Colvin is big -- not much more room for other LBs to join him.
Pats should still be ok here, as Balt has very little offense, as most of you know by now.

Losing Colvin will hurt, especially come playoff time, and now we are going to see just how young/old Bruschi and Seau are. Possible silver lining....Adalius to the outside, where we saw flashes of his old self recently. He could go off now.

Yes I expect to see Thomas move to OLB. Also Bruschi and Seau will likely see more time, and not just rotate. NE just re-signed Chad Brown, a veteran who has been on and off again with the team for years. He is 2 or 3 steps down from Colvin, and does not give you the pass rush Rosey does, but at least he will know where he is supposed to be on the field. They could also move to a 4-3 more often than they have been, but for now they have enough depth at LB, as long as they can stay healthy.

I think Im with Lefty on this one....I just hate giving any pro team that many points! you never know what could happen. Im not so sure about the over either, I cant see Baltimore scoring many points

Another sick spread It's funny, even though the Pats won last week, everyone knows they didn't play up to Patriot Football Standard, and we were all disappointed That's the 1st loss all season for me betting my Pats. Pretty dam good I might add I'm up a S!#T Load Going to be a pretty good Christmas this year
I think I'm going to play something I hate playing...A Teaser I'll tease the Pats -15 and tease it up to 57.5 and take the Under. Pats will do 95% of the scoring this game. Ravens may come strong out of the gate, but they won't be able to keep the Stamina up to compete, especially if Brady runs the no huddle again
So that's my play boys!
Good Luck -
Pats - 42
Ravens - 12

Somebody has to try it. The odds are the Patriots are about to lose one. Teams have been getting closer and closer.
Interestingly enough these teams are not familiar with one another. The last time that they played one another in the regular season was in 2004. It's the return of Adalius Thomas to B-More. Baltimore is one of the only teams that New England has a losing ats record against having a 2-4 ats record against B-More at B-More.
The loss of Roosevelt Colvin will be felt this tonight. The Patriots are now much slower afoot without him in their linebacking corps. Seau and Bruschi are vets, and saavy, but fast they are not. Look for B-More to exploit this matchup with Todd Heap, and crossing routes to catch those old geysers trailing on a play.
Tom Brady has a right shoulder issue and is not 100% for this game. That's not good when for the first time all season save the 1st game, the Ravens will have their full complement of defensive players, including one of the best secondaries in football when healthy. Tall physical corners take Moss out of games, and that's what B-More has with McAlister and Rolle.
If the Ravens get a little help from their offense and special teams, they have a shot at winning this game. of the 20 touchdowns surrendered by the B-More defense, 13 were scored when the opponent started at the 40 yard line or closer. 9 of those touchdowns started within Raven's territory. Turnovers, and bad special teams play have scarred their efforts and made the defensive numbers skewed even with all of the injuries.
The young offensive line has been staying late after practice all week working on technique. The Patriots more than likely, with the new lack of speed at the linebacker position, will elect to not blitz as much in this game for fear of giving up the big play.
The Ravens have never lost 6 games in a row and they are trying everything to avoid that from happening. They need the luck of the football gods on their side to do it though.

Hilarious post my friend!! Brady has a right shoulder issue? Yeah and he's been listed on the injury list every single game he has played in. Baltimore is not a good football team, especially on offense. Their defense is still solid, but not even close to what they were the last time these teams met. Philly showed something last week that may seem like a way to beat this Patriots team, but you know Belichek had his foot up every one of their asses this week at practice and they were running in-routes until they saw them in their sleep. Patriots won't blitz because they are scared of the big play? Against the Ravens? They don't have a big play in their gameplan. Patriots are going to jump out early and often in this one, leaving the Ravens defense dazed and confused. Take Patriots -20 and the OVER 51

People talk and talk and talk 500 ml Baltimore I will believe it when I see the ticket You either crazy or you have money to burn. Baltimore can barly score a field goal much less a touch down against NE DEFENSE. Granted last week they were soft against the Eagles but they are not the same or close to baltimore. Remember they come out of the NFC east one of the toughest teams to play..
My money is on the Pats Lets talk smack on Tuesday

We'll see buddy, this thing will be over before it starts. The ravens D is alright, not very good to tell you the truth. The O sucks, probably the worst in the league. Kyle Boller? He will have 4 pics, 2 for 6, probably asante, seriously, the over might hit if the pats hit it themselves cause the ravens O is about as good as my hihghschool O. Take the pats to the house, first quarter, half, game, whatever you want, they will cover, the ravens SUCK
