like Arizona here....falcons are minus many weapons and their D is not stellar. I do not like this crippled falcons team on the road outdoors. Ariz...bol.

Absolutely hammering the Cardinals here. Their great D should give fits to Atlantas  injury riddled roster. Palmer hasnt been great but this falcon d is as soft as they come..Geno Smith looked like Namath the other nite. Situationally cards on bye next wk so the motivation will surely be there.

I think this is the week Carson Palmer ends his 7-game consecutive interception streak. The achilles heal of the Cardinals is no doubt their offensive line (and the turnover prone Carson Palmer). Fortunately for Arizona, they will finally be going up against a defense that won't be able to expose that flaw. After playing brutal match ups against Seattle and San Francisco (2 of the better defenses in the league), facing this Atlanta defensive squad should be as worrisome as a cloudy day. Not to mention, facing this Atlanta running game shouldn't be too much of a challenge either (after trying to stop Frank Gore and Marshawn Lynch).

And with Atlanta playing without any of their household names at wide receiver, Arizona will be able to match up Patrick Pederson on Harry Douglas. Matt Ryan will be forced to go to Tony Gonzalez one too many times, and eventually the honey badger will make a play on one.

I think this is a good spot to take the Cards.

Atlanta has lost too many key players, and AZ a home

Arizona -1

Great analysis Sammy, but you missed the RB's on both sides of the ball:

{Mendenhall did not practice Wednesday due to a toe injury and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons.}

This means Carson to throw more - and we all know what that means, lousy defense or not.....

To see my teammates go out there and battle, being here seven days a week with those guys and not being able to participate and not be able to maybe be a difference-maker in a game or two, it's been very frustrating. But I have learned a lot by just actually becoming coach. Now I think I really know the details of some of the plays I probably didn't know because I was so new to the offense.”

Uh, oh......

Now, if Mendenhall's out, (or at least hobbled) and a frustrated but schooled S-Jax is in?? I'm thinking Hotlanta. And I'm gambling on all of that and gettin' in at +1, before everyone else reads this.....

Dare I say it??? I know it's gonna piss off a lot of "haters" in here, but O.K., here goes........

This would be referring to when Atlanta allowed the Jets to come in to their house and take the 30-28 victory.
Have to wait and see more on the injuries.  If White and Jackson play I'd look at ATL ML but without either I say its an easy play and the Cards for any line under 3.

Quad,

I really loved that Mendenhall pickup for Arizona, but he is a complete shell of himself so I hope Mendenhall sits this one out which will give Andre Ellington, the Cardinals clearly best back at this point, more touches.  No Julio Jones, Roddy White gimpy, Mike Smith has been Mr. Magoo all year long and a subpar defensive unit equals NO chance on the road against a Cardinal squad desperate for a win.

With all that said, put me down for Arizona minus a point AND Under the Total for three (3) C-Notes apiece please.  Thanks!

Cards on this one.   The most pertinent point to me is that Atlanta pass d makes geno smith look like joe willy Namath. Cards -1

Mendenhall has been Mendenhall and Steven Jackson has been an absolute bust. Both RB's a non factor
Ryan is without his top receivers Jones/White....I don't see the injury riddled Falcons pulling out a W on the road against a hungry Cards team ready for a bye week
L Fitz will burn them for a couple of scores

Quad,

I appreciate that, but this has been my only bright spot in miserable day…  Hopefully the Red Birds can put an end to my money hemorrhaging tonight…  Best of luck to you and the rest of the Pack backers tonight…
