7 point favorites against the Texans is indicating to me the Niners are the play here. Coming off a huge 24 point divisional victory the Niners are primed to  the Texans in the chops.

San Francisco - 24                               Houston - 10

49ers -7                                           under 41.5

I'll take Harbaugh over Kubiak and Kaepernick over Schaub . The Harbaughs sweep the Texans.

San Francisco - Under

If Indy could do it to San Fran, why not Houston?  Have to get around that in my head first.

San Fran did not prove anything beating a bad Rams team last week. Win or lose, taking the points on this solid dog.  Texans.

Indy shutdown SF like Seattle did.  Houston for most of 3 qtrs only gave up 3 points to Seattle.  Houston dominated Seattle and basically gave them the game.  A lopsided win vsStLouis is nothing to get all riled up about.  Houston needs this game to get over "sleepless vsSeattle". Kaepernick will scramble and may cough up the ball.

Texans are burning Schaub jerseys when the whole team should be looking in the mirror.  Still see Houston in  total disarray, and I don't think they'll have an easy time against the 9 ers  in this spot. Sorry, W8!

SAN FRANCISCO  - 7

Been looking at this site on and off for 8 years and never posted but I’ve been killing the 3 local bookies i have had for awhile now and I’m going to post some picks. You can thank me later.

Im putting 600$ HOUSTON + 7 to the bank it will not even be close this spread is shocking that they would give the texans this many points is beyond me they are top 5 in offense and defense and they have just been on the bad side of some terrible play-calls….you have to remember this team was 11-1 last season without brian cushing after week 5…..He is healthy with  JJ Watt and ed reed…They will shutdown the kaperdick offense and schaub will throw all over the 49ers who look stagnant. The texans foster and tate combo smashed seattle and their offense put up huge yards on them. This won’t even be close I’m also taking Texans ML +250 i will wager 200$ on that and collect as well….This has been way too easy this year… they want you to think people are burning schaub jerseys on every corner but its all bullshit he took the texans to 11-1 last season… I don’t see them with 3 losses in a row!!!!! are you friggin kidding me the parity in the nfl is not how it used to be never should the texans get seven points unless maybe they play against the broncos who the texans beat in denver last season. I mean really niners getting way too much love here wow. good luck though u lay that chalk and eat it if you want.

i am a texans homer and was at that seattle game so take my info with a grain of salt. with the texans slow start and barely beating teams we feel we should beat, schaub blowing that seattle game did finally send some people over the edge. Having said that, the fans in Houston have been on schaub forever, it is nothing new. the team is not in "total disarray" as vue put it. with the texans having an even better roster than last year and aldon smith not playing for the niners, I don't know how in the world the texans are 7 pt dogs. the texans generally struggle against teams with elite qbs and teams who can get to schaub early. I don't see that here with the niners. I plan on playing the ML and the +7 in a game the texans and schaub need even more than the niners do.

This sounds all too familiar, and you just joined this week - - Llana Franks - is that you???

Anyways, you keep saying Texans were 11-1, Texans were 11-1, so what - Ravens won the Superbowl! and they can't even get by the Bills!!!

Once again, this line is right where it should be, but I gotta go with the extra rest and home team.....

49ers by 7.....

At first glance, this line seems like too many points. But I think Vegas has it big for a good reason. The Texans are a team that relies heavily on playaction to move the ball through the air. The playaction only works when teams have success running the football. We all know the Texans have a legit 1-2 punch with Foster and Tate, but how effective will they be against this 49er front 7?

We did see the Colts go into Candlestick and pound the ball on them, but was that just an aberration? In a way, that's exactly what Ahmad Bradshaw did to 49ers when he was on the Giants last year. We also saw the Seahawks have their way with the 49ers, but when you take a look at the numbers, they did a decent job against Seattle. They held Marshawn Lynch to 98 yards on 28 attempts. If you strip out one 21-yard run, they held Lynch to an average gain of 2.8 yards a carry. The 49ers have looked pretty stout against the run in the small sample size that we have. Granted they will once again be without the services of Aldon Smith, but the extra rest from playing last Thursday was just what the doctor ordered for team captain Patrick Willis.

With JJ Watt and Cushing still bloodied and bruised from last week's disastrous loss to the Seahawks, I think you have a recipe for a big day for Frank Gore and the 49er offensive line.

Also keep in mind the 49ers went 6-1-1 at Candlestick last year, and they just got embarrassed by the Colts in their last home game. I expect the shoe to be on the other foot this Sunday night. I think the Texans will get back to .500 when they play the Rams next week.

Good Luck

The Texans are playing this game pissed and more needy than the Niners are - from what I see.  Heck, I would argue the Niners, the Superbowl finalist of last season, have bigger problems if they plan to repeat.  For the Texans, there is a decent psychological angle here in their favor. Texans will not slouch they will play tough with something to prove. The team got together Wed. fully supporting Schaub, they have his back.  At the very least, the Texans will make a solid game of this. For me, I have the Texans +7 & ML.

JJ Watt needed 6 stitches on his nose last week so I hear and the Niners may give him 6 more if they think they can do what they allowed Sea to do in SF.....If SF is losing this game late, I'd expect Harbaugh to start punching everyone in the nose regardless of team or fan alike.....SF...M/L

You see watt's face at end of game last week's game in that interview? Really? Do want to go against that? He can literally change a game. Line dropping. Hou wins this straight up for the large!!

Have you watched Houston play this year? WIthout this guy they'd be pretty great, with that running game and that D all he has to do is manage the game. With his poor decisions he's the only thing holding them back.
We'll get to find out how he plays under pressure today, previous evidence shows it's not pretty, cause from the Houston fans I know Yates is getting the job is Schaub doesn't play well today.

Houston should come out storming after blowing game against
Seattle at home last week.
Going with Houston plus the points, but would not be surprised at
all if they win the game outright.
