Im putting detroit in my parley as a moneline play.  I think they win this.   GB  defense is sucking, one of the worst  defenses.

NE  moneyline
SD -4
DET  moneline
carolina - 1.5

100  pays 2,524

My point was for trends 3,4 or 5 years or more. 3 obviously meaning they're more relevant. And even if it is say 5 players a year. At 5 years that 25 players and almost half the 53 man roster. When you are going back a half decade for trends it's typically a waste of time. Not all trends but sometimes I see them as outdated.

For example awhile ago I saw someone on this site mentioning that a team (I believe DET) had a great record L20 games against  TOR. Well going back to  20-17 games and Yzerman and Clark were playing those contest lolol. So what in the world does that mean for a game 10+ years later ??

Thanx for the reply though I see what you're saying, that it's about balance and not relying on any one criteria and on that I fully agree. BOL this weekend.

Seems to me like, all things considered... the books are gathering all the Lions money they can get on this game...

Quad you are absolutely correct…  They knew Aaron Rodgers was on the take from jump street on last week’s deal (that line stunk like holy hxll) and that will NOT be the case here…  Detroit after that HUGE win (Cutler was also on the take last week as well) has everybody and their mother loving that touchdown head start…

With that said, put me down for Green Bay in Lambeau Field minus the chalk for four (4) C-Notes please.  Thanks!

Surprisingly noone really noticed the total...its only been set this high in 1 matchup and the under hit..bush vs lacy tomorrow with the occasional shot down the field from either team .its slated to be rain tomorrow which negates a lot of things on both sides here...whoever can sustain a running game tomorrow is likely the winner....I'm booked at UNDER 55

Detroit isnt going to beat up the entire division, no matter how much they are pumped up to do it.

Well articulated ….

As I stated in my write-up, when that line came out told me right there Rodgers was going to dump that game…

Calvin Johnson is out. I am canceling my play on Detroit and leaning towards the under now. Detroit will clearly try to run the ball more and control the clock.

Well after all that talk. When I heard Megatron was in the holster today I jumped ship like a drowning rat and took GB +1 as the first leg of my main play for the day. A 3 gamer to DEN -1 to SF +0.5 @ +180 risking 2 units.

And it worked out for a nice day to say the least.

Quad glad to see you're still doing work around here. And I think you were on to something this week. And that was that the books expected Megatron to be on the shelf for this one,and that info to be released late.

But Holtnt. Are you saying that Rodgers, one of the highest profile athletes on earth. Who has been publicly criticizing Ryan Braun for his stupidity and lies. Actually threw a game last week for a 500K envelope (still not sure where that # came from)  from Tony Two Teeth and Johnny Knuckles ?? Why would Rodgers ever do something that self destructive ?? And please don't say because the "family" said so.

It's much easier, safer and ultimately more profitable to have him do advertising work for your legit businesses while giving him zero returns off the profits. If you have the resources to make him throw an NFL game I'm pretty sure he'd do a commercial for you Caddy dealership.

Why try and make him tank a nationally televised game in front of millions of fans which could completely backfire and cause him to destroy his brand forever which also costs you any chance at prostituting his talents.

Long story short....Pro q.b's aren't throwin' games,especially not for a half mil.....PERIOD !!

LOL!  I guess you feel the NFL is immune to well documented sports fixing like in MLB (Chicago Black Soxs), NBA (Tim Donaghy), College Basketball (Kentucky, CCNY, Boston College, Arizona State etc…), College Football (Ohio State, Toledo, Hawaii).

I don’t know where you came up with the $500K because I never mentioned any number as I have never had any personal knowledge of a fix, but if you believe pro QB’s haven't/don’t shave points or flat out dump games, YOU my friend are very naive…
