If the Giants do not win this game..........Giants win by double digits unless they have 7 turnovers.

Carolina will get their fair share of points in this game also.  Liking the over on this.  Giants defense is sucking.

Sometimes you can drive yourself nuts looking at stats, trends, public consensus, angles, and all that other stuff when predicting the outcome of a game. All that helps, but sometimes you have to just go with your gut. The Giants took care of business last year at Carolina and I expect them to do the same....all because of one simple reason. They will want it more.

Coach Tom Coughlin lost his brother in a tragic accident this week, and he has addressed the team about it, and will still be on the sidelines this Sunday. I think that offensive line that wasn't opening up any holes, and that defensive line that wasn't generating any pass rush, will give Coach something to be happy about when they leave Carolina Sunday afternoon. With another road game scheduled at Kansas City next week, the sense of urgency couldn't be any higher.

BIG BLUE one more time. (full disclosure - I am a Giants fan)

I agree with Sammy_Ace....G-Men in the same boat as Pitt and I don't see either the Big Blue or Terrible Towels getting packed away this week....M/L as always.

Carolina almost upset Seattle in game 1 at home so they do have the potential to play well at their home stadium and beat the G-Men..and honestly i believe this game means more to Cam Newton and his future in this league than it does to the Giants especially with how bad New York's defense has been I cant imagine them putting it all back together already to stop the Panthers

Carolina at home against a NYG team in shambles. Carolina to cover with a Newton performance that will be talked about.

Give me the G-men -1 ,

Victor Cruz burns them in the 4th Q and then salsa dances in the end zone (cha cha cha)

Giants 24 Carolina 17

Which team do you see going 0-3? I'm leaning to Coughlin coming out on top.

Giants have not proven to me they are a contender this year.
They have no run game to speak of,Eli has throen more int.then
TD's,and you just can't expect the G-Men to win soley on their passing game.
Taking Carolina in this one.

Better coach and better QB. Lot of emotions and I see Eli leading this week to an easy win. Giants -1

For the sake of being Glib, I'm reserving comments to the following:  Giants +1 only because they're the lesser of EVILS ATS.  I wanna take the Cats, but nothing smooth about them so far (from what I've gleaned).

Carolina very depleted Secondary.  Cam Newton Led teams score an average of 12 points vs the Giants Defense, while the Giants average about 33 points per game against Carolina.

My pick of the Day is the Giants !!!

Check out all my picks free.  22-9-1 ATS this year.

  G TROUBLES

Much past talk bout' Giant successes
under dire straights = W

Fact is,  Giants are in deep trouble with no run game n' poor backfield.
ELI Can't do it alone.
On a normal week, Coach Coughlin can substitute
O run for short quick out game plan that is vital for Eli to stretch field out .
Sadly so, it's been anything but a normal week with Coach C losing his brother in a Tragic accident.

Many saying BLUE will win it for coach C.
However , desperate 0 -2 Panthers ( Picked by many to make playoffs ) are playing with revenge in mind after last year's Giant home drubbin' .
There will be respect but little pity .
If this game was in NJ , I'd take Blue to cover.

As is...

Hope I'm wrong , see Panthers by 3

To Coach C

Eli has a field day throwing to Cruz in the slot today. Cam Newton is trying to be a pocket passer instead of using his strong point (mobility) he missed so many open receivers last week. Give me Eli over Newton any day .
