48.0 over/under

leaning the over for some reason

would be nice to see the season opener be a high scoring game

Historically, Thursday night games go under.  I see a low scoring game on this one.  I would put the score somewhere at Den 17 Balt 10.

I have Over 48...

My thinking is that broncos Can and will score on the Ravens. THeir strength on O is ravens Weakness on D(Passing) Shouldnt b able to run the ball effectively against Bal front 7 so more passing attempts for Manning.

Denvers D is a mess right now. Miller out, Bailey out, Thin at LB, D-Line banged up...I dont like their chances of containing Bal.

The Question is can Ravens score enough to cover this over??? I think they can so im Comfy with the over

IMO, both teams will struggle on D until they get a few games under the belt, i believe both teams will put up many points with the pass, no side for me just the over  Gl all

It's been a while my fellow degenerates. I am going w the public here and taking the points w the super bowl champs. We can talk all you want about the new look Baltimore defense without Ed Reed and Ray Lewis, but the truth remains that I am much more concerned about the Broncos defense missing the reigning defensive MVP, Von Miller. Not to mention, the usually reliable Champ Bailey will be out as well with a foot injury. The Broncos first team defense hasn't really looked good in the preseason either; getting spanked by Seattle & giving up 20 first half points to the St Louis Rams.
I know Peyton has the weapons to light up the scoreboard this year, but I think Baltimore's offense will be good enough to convert on 3rd down and keep the chains moving in a slow, methodical fashion.  I predict the Sheriff will be forced to watch much of this game from the sidelines.

Take the points with Harbaugh. My prediction is you won't see a Harbaugh coach get 8 or more points for the rest of the season.

Ravens 24.
Broncos 27

I see no valid reason to think that Denver could not cover. Denver -7.5 is not impossible to cover. We know that Baltimore is the current champion team but visiting Denver in Week 1 with a +7.5 tells us that a game will not be easy. Denver (13-3) finished with the best record in the American Conference, they lost 38-35 in overtime against Baltimore but anyone could take the win. The season is 16 games and do not see why Denver could win this game by more than 10 points. I'll take Denver -7.5

I LIKE YOUR STYLE!!!   Broncos will SMASH Baltimore at home, just to get that taste out of their mouths. I've got Den -6.5 for $120 (whole game) & Den -4.5 & over 24.5 (first half 2pk parlay) for $40.

My prediction: DENVER 34 - BALTIMORE 21

GO BRONCOS!!!!

63% of the action on this game is on the Broncos yet the line has gone from -9 to -7 on Denver. Hopefully you understand math ???

First game of regular season. Playing at HOME (Mile HIGH) 76,125 Fanatic BRONCO fans still pissed at last years playoff elimination outcome by the hands of flacco. This game is more than "the first game" This is REVENGE.. Motivation and momentum fueled by a rOckin stadium is a HUGE factor here. stats stats stats.. don't forget about the human element here. and this game is primed for that. i see flacco having a bad night... i see manning having a field day with Thomas Decker and NOW WELKER? are you kidding me.. this baltimore team is not the same team it was. so many key players gone on both sides of the ball. gonna be a rough night for the ravens! DENVER beat baltimore 34-17 in week 15 last year @BANK stadium. and that was with Boldin,Birk, REED, Ellerbe and Rayray lewis..

BRONCOS WIN.. 31-17
(glad Football is back!!!!) LET$ ALL get That $$$$!
