I like the Ravens in a somewhat lopsided win much like the Pats game. Kaepernick is still just a rookie with only 10 starts. While he is talented and well coached, I just can't see him beating Baltimores defense. Ravens will focus on him with schemed and tough defense. Hoping Baltimore will get up early on the 9ers like Atlanta did. Flacco will rune a very balanced offense and with time running out, Kaepernick will press and start making mistakes. Baltimore won't look back. Take the points and over.

Good luck to all.

The more I study this game the more I like BAL. They are now healthy and playing the right way. They revamped the O line for the playoffs and have been playing outstanding. Lewis Ngata and Suggs are back for the playoffs and the D have been playing outstanding.  They have outstanding special teams. BAL are solid in all 3 phases offense defense and special teams. It should be a great game.

I like Niners to score first. IMO they also cover the first half. As for the game it will be close just like 4 of the past 8 superbowls that have been decided by 4 or less. Ill take the better quarterback, and a team who has players who have been in a superbowl before. Give me the RAVENS!

I AGREE.  using FOOTBALL LOGIC....niners are the better team if u use the eye test.  having said that...I think the brother factor will play a large part.  these 2 teams are mirror images of each other.  it will be a CLOSEGAME   guaranteed.  There is no way in hell that SF has that much of a competitive advantage over baltimore.  PLus ur betting big time on a 2nd year qb.   picking SF to win the game...but    BALTIMORE + 4.    JUMP ON IT

i feel i am in an enlightened space at present .. 100% raw tracker vigor kickin off in my natural pure state of being = a RAVEN +PTS BEING EASIER THAN TAKING CANDY FROM A BABY or easier than wasting 5 or 6 hrs worrying bout one football game .

GOING WITH A RAVENS 30 - 24 for the W    AND PLZ DONT SAY IT AINT SO MISTA JOE

note: many prognasticators simply add up the set o/u and come up with a final score .. you do that for every game on the board sure you are bound to hit some dead on right .. well this is one game and believe you me , this game total has nothing to do with what will go down on feb 3 2013 in the football game of all games .. let's book em baaby !

if i had to pick it to go under , say 47 or 48 , then i put it at __________ .  nope it aint goin under .. i see one team getting 23 or 24 for sure .. and that is the losing teams score .. so it cant go under .. not likely .. if i am wrong it sure wont be the first time .. haha  where is your confidence maaan !!! uh , i left it in vegas ? not ! lol ....... now let me read this whole thread and see if anyone is on the same page as me .. balt 3 tds and 3 fgs , sf 2 tds and 3 fgs , 6 fgs altogether .. lol  what kind of space am i really in ? ooh man , this is not the game i wanted to see .. but i still see 30 - 23 or 24 .. if it is sf that gets 30 then it will be fav and over .. am looking for dog and over or U/O combo !  1 time boyeeee <> combos it wont be ats = f/o , def not f/u and no way it is u/u .. that leaves the mighty , fat , sporty dog and over combo .. ty very much on elvis best night ever .. ty vuury much .

Ravens have no issues going deep. The 49rs will adjust every time to Flacoo. Keep the ball on the ground and let the 49D do their job. KAP is way faster n more mobile than Flacco.Ravens will not have all the answers. 49rs will be too much with all the weapons they have.

I see Davis, Gore,Crabtree having a great game and possibly loudmouth MOSS with a few throws for 20yrds or more.

No turning back now 49rs,the time has come, the time is ours!

GO 49RS!!

not to repeat the same ole strat angles but >>> when a team takes out indy , den in den , and ne in ne no way you make them an u-dog .. you just dont do that if you have any HONEST SENSE  whatsoever  .. from a practical strategical standpoint you do yes .. you make the fav the team you want people to think has the advantage .. when in reality there is no advantage .. none ! after the fact if the fav gets it done then you think you knew what you were talking about and that the linemakers were correct .. but come on .. NO SUCH THING AS A FAV IN C-SHIP GAMES ON NEUTRAL SITES .. the silliest part of all this for anyone including me to act like i have a strong play on this >> kap could go down early then what .. so could any key players on either side .. so is really ridiculous for people to think either side is ever sooooooooooo solid .. hey would be no fun if we didnt but i had to add that .. when you know YOU KNOW ? hmm , not really .. it just so happened to go the way you capped it .. yes everyone knows this .. i just wanted to share it .

now if it was rodgers vs brady would i be talking like this or could i really truly have a strong strong take/play on the game ? well , yeeees (would just take the over) but then again no not on the side .. too many factors involved in the outcome .. too many guys wearing zebra vests too .. am i saying this just because this one is hard to figure ? not really . again , you dont make a team a 3.5 or 4.5 pt u-dog that has come this far and beat the odds winning like they have in fact done .. you can always say sf should have lost in atl , all ryan had to do was put it in the endzone at the end .. you can say it about every team pretty much .. the games are so close in competition that the road through the playoffs are gonna have some games that could have went either way .. always .. sooooo ? what we have is the ravens and 9ers .. what do you really do with this game ? lol  you have to take the pts and hope it is on the up and up and that the oddmakers yet again were off in their SUPER BOWL LINE

what do you really do if you dont have a lot of $$ ? just live bet it and at some point you will get a better line than what it is at now .. honestly if flaccos name was more catchy he would be given more credit AND VIEWED DIFFRENTLY .. just look at his stats and his experience .. he aint no joke .. he just gets a (downplayed) average qb failure , bad rap .. names sell (marketable names) !!! why do you think people and companys change their names ? because it sells . people are shallow .. is so sad but true .. im soooooooooooo sorry ! haha

dont let me down balty !!! let's goooooooooooooooo <> 1_Luv comin at ya from above and beyond , still alive and kickin it .

must add : if flacco looked different he would be given more credit too .. lol  no it is not just about the qb .. but is huge position same as a pitcher in mlb or a goalie in nhl ..  CATCH THE BALL , HOLD ONTO THE BALL .. plz ?  that was fun , ty and gl to everyone .. and plz have some humility and be thankful you are alive and fortunate enough to have life ..

Every SB they say one team is unstoppable and will win the game. But the other team finds a way to stop them and gets the upset win. This SB they are saying SF Kaepernick is unstoppable and SF will win the SB. This sets up very well for BAL. The reason this probably happens is because for 2 wks 24/7 ESPN shows every big play for SF pistol and Kaepernick and breaks down every aspect of these plays. This is very important information and perspective for BAL. All this information will help BAL to come up with a game plan to stop SF pistol and Kaepernick.

it cracks me up when people think they are so much smarter than the books and... yea the books made SF the favorite because they think Baltimore should be the favorite... that's how it works!

do you people really think the 49ers are the team that has everybody in this country enamored right now?

think of it this way... pro cappers pride themselves on not being emotional... staying even kiel... not getting caught up in the hype...

which one of these teams is riding a hype train right now?  think about it!  i keep seeing people suggest that the public is in love with the 49ers, and crap like that... the team that has jumped into the public spotlight in these playoffs is the Ravens... they came out of nowhere, beat the top 2 seeds on the road... they have a future hall-of-famer who is very high profile, retiring from the league...

on what planet is San Fran the team that people are getting OVERLY EMOTIONAL about?

not this one... that's for damn sure!  gotta wonder about the perceptual powers of anyone thinking the Ravens are not the over-hyped team in this situation...

good points searider , also look at the circumstances of how sf tore up gb .. ti was in sf .. they got early breaks and just ran with it .. if the game was in fact say on a neutral field ? it may have been a total different outcome .. really there is no IT MAY TO IT .. it would have been .. and yes we can say that about every game in playoff history .. the results of said game are more CIRCUMSTANCIAL than any blueprint or to just say said team won because they were in fact the better team .. playing on the road vs playing at home vs playing on a neutral field .. playing outside vs playing indoors .. lol   SUPER BOWL 47 IS INDOORS AND ON NEUTRAL GROUND . those factors equate what the result will be in huge fashion .. like if you play in your own backyard with everyone cheering for you well rested coming from home all happy VS being on the road with everyone against you and comin from a foreign hotel bed .. both teams are on neutral ground with neutral circumstances altogether .. gotta be one of the reasons the SO CALLED DOG has faired so well too ..

going further brainstormin (teams over and under valued because of name and history and pub perception) falcons vs ravens line = ____________   shakws vs ravens line = ______________  skins vs ravens line would have been _______________  and so on .. play with it and you might get a better take on the real deal of this crazy sb matchup ..   9ers vs pats line would have been ______ and all because of public perception and the seeding of the teams .. when in fact the seeding comes from meaningless games in the reg season that are more schedule luck/and by chance than any TRUE INDICATOR .. (of what will unfold when the 2 teams have 2 weeks to prepare for one another ) is just insane i say .. seeds ? funny . kap ran wild on gb .. gb was not ready .. and they were in sf at night .. if it was in gb ? it goes on and on .. all that to say what has happened in the past is just that >>> THE PAST . not a telltale sign of things to come .. has it ever been ? in a football game ? well from a trackers take the play was gb +3 over sf in sf .. it just didnt work out .. why .. because of all the circumstancial factors , sf got lucky and gb played bad .. trackers take was also to take the skins over sea .. just didnt happen .. qb for skins got hurt .. should have never even been in the game to begin with .. soooooooooooo ? try and make sense of taking sf all you want but in the end ? oooh my .. this is what you will be saying afterwards when you are watching >>> why did i believe an unknown qb with 10 games under his belt was the way to go over a qb that has been to the playoffs 5 yrs in a row ,, the reasons go on and on and it is sick to even type this .. look at ray ray , he is soooooooo conceited and high on himself .. but .. ahh i guess i gotta give him his props ... ooh my , why was i on sf , an nfc team that lives off of old names in the past and is known as the happy city ... lol

holy crap!

if not for the 2 week interval this angle would be shot .. you would def take balt luck to crash and burn .. but is ACTUALLY A BRAND NEW SEASON WITH ALL THE PREP TIME .. so we can throw out the reg season and all preconcieved notions we had or thought we had .. if i have time to study you and rest ? come on man .. books make the fav the fav by teams seeding and scoring average for and against (and what teams did in this years playoffs) .. so what balt lost said game back in nov or dec to affect their seeding and sf won said game or lost or tied .. the books know there is no fav in this game .. but for betting purposes they have to make somebody the fav .. like red tape .. you know it is red tape .. it is meaningless really .. it is just procedure .. dont think i am smarter .. i am the book .. make that my new name instead of V ... actually I have not been tuned into all the sb hype and festivities on espn .. my take is one of being on an island by himself with no seeds planted .. i think what i think using different angles but none of which are by the brainwashing of the media ..

i do feel ya apocalypselater .. that the ravens probably are the more feel good story of the 2 and that wont help on the football field ... but i just feel +pts is a safer way to go .. we could just wager on heads and not even watch the game .. we could go out and exercise ourselves .. come back later and watch all the highlights and hoopla and wonder why we even cared to begin with .. haha

horton , as much as anyone might try and sell you the over or the under ? it is all up to the coaches gameplan , conservative vs sling it ..(will there be big plays from the special teams is hugeer than huge too )  it is also up to the refs .. when they call back big plays it no doubt changes the flow of the game and the score .. i like it to make it over .. but .. the only way you could put a big % on your chances of getting your o/u right would be if you had an inside connection with the head coaches .. on what gameplan they plan on using .. yes the qb can change the play at the line of scrimmage and hit for a long strike .. but .. who knows what tricks these coaches have in the bag .. i really like the over .. but .. coaches and refs create the score result more than us saying we just knew it would be over or under .. if you have faith in the linesmakers ? then it should fall pretty close to 47 or 48 right ..

look on wiki and check out the last 15 sb final scores ..  how many went over 47.5 .. it may appear i lost some confidence since i posted it would be over in post #182 and sounded confident .. ? well , fact is the coaches wont answer the phone and i dont know the refs #s .. haha   gl
