All signs point to niners. Better D, explosive qb on a roll, great OL, coach, momentum. They look virtually unstoppable. But with only 3 games left, Vegas wants their money. If this was regular season I'd play niners. But in this spot with this line, gimme the home dog. But I hope niners win.

Falcons have been winning sum very close games in the dome. They got verrrrrry lucky last week against a very good Seahawks team, simply by getting outta the gates n scoring alot. This will not happen vs a better SF defensive team, they will not let a big lead get ahed of em. My concerns are really with Justin and Aldon Smith. The D has to find the pass rush again.

49rs need to get to Ryan n force him to make mistakes.

Harbaugh will have em reddy and superbowl bound hopefully.

GO 49RS!

Falcons 8-1 in their dome

Defensive Pts avg against Last 5 games

49'ers 28.0      Falcons 19.6

Falcons already beat the best team in the tournament -Seahawks

Bring any body you damn well please to Atlanta - Don't like their chances

You have to respect Atlanta's home record, they are a Dome team and would not have won last week against Seattle anywhere except in their house.  But you also cannot ignore their problem against the run.  If they cannot stop the average team's rushing attack, they are deep doodoo against what the 49ers are bringing in.  CK will force the Falcons to defend the zone read, unlike Seattle's QB he will run it until they respect him.  Lot pf pressure on Atlanta and not enough time to prepare.

At the same time, SF will have a big problem defending the oversized Atlanta receivers and you cannot focus on just one with a double team.  In other words, both offenses are going to move the ball successfully and score.  Should be a great game to watch with lots of big plays.

I am leaning to SF to win because running success doesn't ever have an off day, with passing you the QB has to be dialed in and some days they just don't have their best stuff.  I have question about Ryan as a top notch QB anyway.  Going to look closely at the over also.  Still looking for more input from the non-homers.  GL to all.

to those who say... "Kaepernick may not be a true rookie, but it's his first year starting so we can still treat him as a rookie"... i ask you this?

was Aaron Rodgers still a rookie by the time he finally got to start?  if not, where do you draw the line?

I think this game will be close. Leaning toward the niners but rooting for the Falcons, because Kaper-prick is a complete a-hole. That unsportsman like conduct foul he got was well deserved for spiking the ball in someones face while they were down. Also I just dont like him, he is tatted up more than the usual thug and just an ugly dude lol

I hope the falcons shut down the niners. Glad they beat the arrogant Seahawks, time to take down the niners. SF is the happy capitol of the world btw.

so glad to see Vue has picked Atlanta in this matchup cuzz he really doesn't know his football.  he's a bigger fraud than Te'os girlfriend and the Cantlanta Falcants combined!

Take the better team with the 49ers.  Kaepernick is the real deal.

Hey Buddy- I would love nothing better than a San Francisco win. An Kaepernick is quite a sensational QB. However, as helpful as stats are overall, they can very misleading in specific cases. Now that the "cat's out of the bag", and the clearly (on paper- stat supported) better Seahawks ,fought back , only to be shortchanged a hard fought victory, it should be obvious in a span of under 30 seconds, Ryan led his team back down the field, to secure the victory & setup the winning FG.  That being said, and inspite of the less than stellar stats that have been produced by all the teams, it remains that the Falcons (regardless of  how they got there), are still the # 1 seeded team.  I don't, and never have bought into the "theory" of the team with the harder schedule,is the superior team. Whatever cards you're dealt, and what your do with your hand, is all that really matters. AS part of my capping, I maintain a strength of schedule Power Rating. Again, clearly the Seahawks were better than Atlanta (didn't happen), and in fact they were ranked above SF (did happen). Plus the PR's show that the 49 ers hold a league leading 5.62 point homefield advantage. SF is, unfortunately, not that great on the road. The logical conclusion is that if the Falcons thru out most of the game, and at the end, proved better than the Seahawks, and these same Seahawks, gave San Fran fits all year long, it stands to reason that at least in the Georgia Dome, the Falcons have a slight edge. Again, granted overall (plus stats) the 49ers are the better team, just not in this scenario.

I actually like his attitude. That "spike" was hardly excessive. You need that type of swagger in this league. This is entertainment in the end.

Who cares about his tattoos and looks? Is this a dating site? Too much emphasis the media puts on tattoos on athletes like him and jr smith.

Wish you the best of luck, in this very tough game. I guess I do "know my football", as I'm currently doing 5-3 in the playoffs. Depending on what line you played against in the Sea/Atl game last week, I might even be 6-2. From what I see you've been posting, you obviously haven't been "burning up the course" yourself!

There's obviously no line in the sand that you can draw....

but we can start by saying this is first year starting..... he has only a few road starts.... and it's his first playoffs...

The guy is a rookie....

I would say Aaron Rodgers was a rookie the first year he started.... obviously he sat for several years to he was a better prepared rookie...

but dealing with crowd noise in a dome in the playoffs is very difficult... for Veterans..... Russell Wilson defied the odds last week with his rookie road play in my opinion.....This is a huge test for Capurnicus....

Now, setting the playoff record was unbelievably impressive.... but ATL defense is going to play much better than the GB defense did simply on the homefield advantage.... and the tape of GB plyaing man coverage every down and getting torched....

Also, the "rookie" had a bye week to prepare.... now the rookie has to take a cross country flight which limits practice time and play in those odds....

If he gets it done this week I will stop calling him a rookie....

Deal?

Do not get your Panties in a twist.. Read my posts my money is on SF but one day not a proven QB make- CK lost me money once against the Rams where he threw away the game on his own.

Get a Ring then you are proven, simple enough?

Everybody's on 49ers because they believe Kaepernick is going to run a couple of 50 yard TD's. Packers always had a weak defense and it showed. What happens if the zazzle dazzle does not work? Homedog and points are the way to go.

I'm with you Vue......I like Atlanta as Home Dog as posted earlier.  My heart is with SF but my brain said Atlanta taking points at home.

SF lost to NYG 3-26 by DD at home while Atlanta beat NYG 34-0.  SF also lost to Seattle by DD 13-42 while Atlanta beat Seattle 30-28.  The point I want to make is when SF is losing in a game against a good teams, they seem to give up and can't recover like a good playoff team should like Seattle....they end up losing big (DD)!  Unless they can come out storming big in the first half, it will be a long day for the 49ers.  If SF wins, they'll win by a field goal or less so +4 with the Falcons will be good.

Good luck everyone!
