#77 Posted: 1/11/2013 6:23:13 PM I really like Atlanta and that is my strongest play this week. I think everyone has been caught up in the Ray Lewis upcoming retirement. A lot of people have completely forgotten that Tony Gonzalez is also retiring. He is a first ballot hall of famer in my opinion, and I think the Falcons will have him in mind and not get bounced out in their first game of the postseason. The Falcons also have added motivation with their reputation being choke artists in the playoffs. I know the match up on paper looks good for Seattle, but I don't think they will win in the Georgia Dome. If this game were in Seattle, I would really like their chances. Flying across the country for the third time in 3 weeks can be an enduring experience for any team. And I think the situational angles really favor Atlanta. Russell Wilson is a very composed young man, but I don't like backing rookies on the road in a loud dome. Especially with Matt Ryan's reputation on his home turf. I believe the last time the Seahawks played in a dome was against Detroit and they lost that game by 4 points. I can see that happening again thie weekend. Atlanta can be a dangerous team when motivated. Just ask the Giants.
Good luck my fellow degenerates

Actually, I'm not sure what stories I've told or why Lynch is my "golden boy" or why I'm jumping on a bandwagon, since I haven't even picked a side yet. All I've done is a little venting about biased homers who fill up the board with there chest pounding, wasting the time of people who are looking for a little wagering info.
It isn't just you, 007, lots of people on both sides do the same thing. You just happened to be the last one that I read before I snapped - sorry. I just don't understand why youse guys hang out on a betting site when there are lots of fan sites (where no one will mention Robinson).
You know, I'm a Pats fan (have been since I was knee-high to a grasshopper - long, long before Brady). So I don't bet on Pats games or write anything about them - I recognize that I'm too biased. I just root for my team.
Good luck this weekend.
No probs. bro. were good! To me when someone quotes your post it means they want to single you out. Otherwise they would just post comments on there own opinions rather then picking on someone's post to criticize.
I agree with you I am biased about ATL and how they've been from regular season to post season. Post Season I admit we have yet to win. However, I've been a huge Atlanta fan since Chris Chandler, Andre Rison, "PRIMETIME" Deion Sanders and most of all June Jones was our head coach. So I will continue to back my team whether we win or lose as a true fan!
The funny thing about this game is that my girl is from Seattle and is a huge Seahawk fan! Understanding how huge this game is for the both franchises and there history. We go at it almost everyday. But we'll see when it comes down to game time.
One thing I would like to say is I will concede and admit that if Seattle does come out on top that there's no other team I would rather lose to in the NFL besides them. Russell Wilson deserves rookie of the year if they do make it to the NFC championship game.

I watched the Seahawks last 2 games, boy, they have alot of energy. I hate to be the Falcons who have to step in front of that train. I have them in my parlay +2.5, but who needs the points, they are rolling!

#83 Posted: 1/12/2013 1:13:27 AM Seattle Seahawks Now a Super Power!
True, Atlanta now 4-1 at home last 5 home games. But against who? Tampa Bay, New York, Dallas, New Orleans and Arizona! Atlanta now faces Seattle rookie superstar QB Russell Wilson (3305 YDs, 556 rushing yards and 27 TDs). Highly mobile QB Wilson and RB Lynch (1590 YR) virtually impossible to stop! And Seattle no lowly 5-11 Arizona Cardinals!
Seattle's spectacular record of 6-0 straight up and 5-1 vs. Vegas spread last 6 games, also leads the entire nation on defense...only allowing 15.3 points per game! Seahawks have now become one of the NFL super powers!
Atlanta 0-4 vs. spread their last 4 playoff games!
Seattle 4-0 last 4 playoff games as underdogs!
Weekend 4-Team "Straight Up" Power Plays:
Denver - 9 over Baltimore Small Play
Green Bay + 3 over San Francisco (buy half a point) Large Play
ONLY IF Break-Even or Profitable on Saturday:
Seattle + 3 over Atlanta (buy half a point) 5 Times Large Play
New England - 9 over Houston Medium Play

#88 Posted: 1/12/2013 11:51:14 AM Ryan is a very overrated QB, but he does have two excellent receivers which make him look better....and the homefield Dome has been very good to the Falcons this year. Still. there is the Seattle defense which has been very solid this year, and Atlanata has struggled with almost everyone thius year. They just don't look like the #1 seed, and I don't think they really are if all schedules were balanced. Game just looks too close to call for me. Small play on the under betting that Seattle's defense will show up, and that Ryan will choke again.
And on the subject of the earlier posts, if people who are so blinded by their homer fantasies would go hang with the other fans at a sports bar we would all be better off. This is a betting site, not a place to wave your pom poms and spew your hopes and dreams. Good luck, but no one here cares. If you have good inside information, share it, but keep your posts realistic and honest. Otherwise you just make a fool out of yourself. |

#89 Posted: 1/12/2013 1:11:26 PM I watched Seattle last two games as well. Please explain to me how we're they rolling with energy?
They played a solid but unspectacular game in beating rams at home But did not cover 13.5 and Were losing at half. I had rams
We're down 14 points when rg3 got hurt and came back to win I had Seattle and was scared to death early....
Seattle is impressive and that line is funny. But i got to go Dirty birds.
Atl -2.5 |

This just made laugh, I was sitting on my couch throwing garbage at the tv as the Seahawks came out flat this week.... Sooooooo lucky to hit that bet.....
I agree they are spectacular at home but on the road they are not elite.... Atlanta this year is elite.....
I think Matty ice gets his first playoff win.....
Tony G props all day

#91 Posted: 1/12/2013 3:45:58 PM I have been waiting for this all week, I knew everyone would start taking the falcons on the low spread and push this spread in favour of Seattle. +3 right now. Seattle has the perfect d to matchup against the falcons, these corners are big and physical and will play bump and run all day against Jones and White. All the falcons will be able to do is try and find Tony. cause even the slot reciever will be covered by trufant. The falcons cant stop the run ranking 19th in the league, family first (Lynch) will run wild. and russell wilson will do enough to win. Ryan 0-3 in the playoffs, dont see him getting his first win this time around.
Seattle +3 (buy a half point to be safe) up up and out |

If the Seahawks were going to lose it would have been last week. Super Bowl winners have been coming from a wildcard team. It just might be the Seahawks this year. They get it done in Georgia.
Seattle - Over

#96 Posted: 1/13/2013 12:10:56 AM I read all y'all prediction and agree with y'all about Seattle. they have the edge in every aspect of the game but don't you guys think ATL record speak for itself. ATL lost their last game of the season for reason. I think they prepared for seatle to come in and beat them down like a drum then send back to Seatle suicide city.. 31 to 24 ATL |
