#2 Posted: 1/7/2013 1:41:57 AM Denver is winning this game SU
I wouldn't bet on the spread but. Have a 50-1 future bet riding from when they went 1-3 ...odds makers jumped the gun and I slapped a quich 250 bucks on it
Manning has a chance to win the Super Bowl this home home field at Denver will be the advantage in this match up
Baltimore stands no chance of winning

I think baltimore has a chance to win straight up.... But im not playing the ML lol.
If the broncos are down at half im putting a 2nd half wager on the broncos regardless of spread.... Manning has made back all the money i lost this season in the 2nd half of games when they were down.
Gl to all!

My initial play here I think is to do a 3 team 10pt teaser- and pick the ravens +19 or +20 if the line moves and Patriots +1 and over 38
This weekend every fav covered and all went under-
I have a feeling next week the under in some games are in trouble. |

Broncos -9.5
Over 45
That was the score 1 month ago, that'll be the score again. Yes, Ray Ray's back, big tearful retirement - but he already played his final home game..,... So much camera face time, seemed like it was "In Memoriam" already. So, that was it.
Plus, I just can't pull the trigger against Manning at home, just like I can't against Belichick & Brady.
Good luck everybody............ |

#8 Posted: 1/7/2013 2:30:20 PM fans of football have love for both Manning and Lewis, what they have done this year and in their careers. Emotions aside, no way the aged Ravens defense can keep up with Denver right now, at home. Also I always think about the lack of O2 that most players experience in the 4th quarter at mile high, old slow guys running out of air = big points for Manning and company. Denver will easily cover.

#9 Posted: 1/7/2013 4:58:58 PM that's all BS OLD guys running out of air. The only old guys are Ray and maybe Ed. Give me a break Ravens will show up with a plan and IF they can execute they win straight up. Probably looking at the most experienced teams in the NFL under these conditions of playing on the road playoff football, been doing it 5 straight years.
I can remember all of the guys on TV talking about Peyton going to Denver and how weather could affect him late in the season. Will its gonna be in the 20's and snow. Just saying.

#10 Posted: 1/7/2013 5:31:15 PM how many times have you seen opponents at mile high with oxygen tanks in the 4th quarter? old and will be exhausted. Of course if they execute they will win SU. Also I predict the sun will come up and go down on the day of the game.

#14 Posted: 1/8/2013 6:05:20 AM I'll take the 10 in this one.. As good as Manning has been, there are still a lot of pressure on some of the younger guys on the team.. The pressure that comes with being a top seed, not to mention the week off may hurt Denver in this game.. Similar to GB last year.. Baltimore shows balance on offense, with Rice and Flacco, one of the key things in playing Denver..
Early lean on the Ravens here |

#15 Posted: 1/8/2013 11:58:32 AM kind of agree with ya oahu, but i just dont trust flacco in this type of game still thinking about my play. Denver D playing strong right now think they have slight edge over balty

#16 Posted: 1/8/2013 2:28:32 PM Weather might play a role in this game. Highs in the mid teens expected, with a low chance of snow. Not typically weather i would be in love with a big favorite in. |

#18 Posted: 1/8/2013 3:30:23 PM If you like points then take Houston an up and coming team not Balt who is on a decline. Ray Lewis??? he had his last home game and win. If he looked any more hurt he would have been in a wheel chair. They did him a justice doing all the can to get him on the field. Did you see that brace on his arm? Looked like a robotic harm with about 40% use. Baltimore is done no chance in this one.

#19 Posted: 1/8/2013 4:09:53 PM I have been reading everyone's posts on this site for about 6 months and have been betting for last decade for fun not a career so it's all about opinion and way things are percieved. Here's my two cents: Ravens are going to cover. They have a great chance to stop Mannings 11 game win streak su but against a spread of 10 points its not smart money to bet on Denver here. Look at the first matchup 34-17 denver ... ok 17 point win covers easy right? well take a second look at it, suggs was barely back from injury, ray lewis wasn't suited up and it was 10 -0 with less than 1 min left in the first half and Balty had a chance to score from the 2 yard line to make halftime 10-7 instead Flacco misreads route and throws pick 6 making it 17 - 0 halftime. BOTH TEAMS scored 17 in second half. one play and that game is 27 - 24 Denver and game plan changes drastically down 3 and down 17. You have to give Denver credit for doing what they did to earn the number 1 seed but that doesn't entitle them to an easy win here. |

What????I agree Rice is good but Flacco is AWEFUL!!!! always has been and always will be.Boldin made Flacco look like the QB he wants to be.His throws were terrible. Looking forward to another Manning vs Brady showdown!

#22 Posted: 1/8/2013 9:35:57 PM LOOKS LIKE DENVER PLAYED 5 PLAYOFF TEAMS AND WENT 2-3. THE REST OF THEIR SCHEDULE IS HOME...
THAT SAID, IF ONE RECALLS, DENVER WAS UP 10-0 WITH BALTY DRIVING. FLACCO THROWS A PICK DOWN BY THE GOAL LINE AND ITS RETURNED FOR A TD. . .17-0.
IF THEY HAD PUNCHED THAT ONE IN, 3 POINT GAME. ALL THINGS EQUAL 27-24 FINAL.
BALTIMORE HAS WON A PLAYOFF GAME 5 YEARS IN A ROW WITH ANOTHER UNDER THEIR BELT AND A TON OF EXPERIENCE TO BACK IT.
WAITING FOR +10.5. . . |

#24 Posted: 1/9/2013 2:08:07 AM If Flacco throws a pick six in Baltimore i think he throws two pick sixes in Denver c'mon man. You think Flacco is going to get better on the road. History says no. Flacco sucks on the road and he's even worse in "big games". I've heard your reasonings with thew pick six at the end of the half and the 17-17 second half. I see it like this, if Manning wasn't up by dd's then he would have made sure they were, just like he does angaint anyone else, but up dd's on the road in Baltimore sound like its time to protect the football.. thats just what i think.. Go Broncos, its about time!!!!!!!!
