Kinda hope batch is playing in this one so we get a real soft number and can freely pound the steelers cuz trust me it's not gonna matter. Chargers have completely quit, mistake prone rivers and the gang vs. this steelers defense in pitt is just LOL.

I'm gonna guess an opening line of about -4.5 to -5.5 for the Steelers.

I totally agree with my fellow degenerate gambler on this one. Talk about 2 teams going in complete opposite directions. You have the Steelers who are really starting to come together as a team, and just had their most impressive and emotional win of the season. And the Chargers, who are all but certain playing for a lame duck coach, and have shown an ability to score points whether at home or on the road. Phillip Rivers also can't seem to shake the turnover bug, and I don't like his chances of doing it at Heinz Field against the league's best pass defense. It would appear that he may be joining the ranks of Mark Sanchez in positioning himself for a role as a back-up quarterback next season. Granted, the Steelers will be without the services of Ike Taylor and possibly Lamar Woodley as well, but having Troy Polamalu back more than makes up for it. I think James Harrison has also been far too quiet and I fear for Phillip RIvers life this Sunday.

If the Steelers were in 1st place and cruising into the playoffs, I would look for a possible let down, but I don't see that happening in a tight AFC playoff race. I like the Steelers in a blowout. San Diego is probably dreading this game and can't wait for this season to end.

Steelers -8.5

chargers are so beat up now...not just at Oline. I am a die hard charger fan but this is the lowest we have been in forever. We lost our 2nd str8 game allowing 10 minutes in final 5 minutes...AT FCKING HOME!!! Pitt owns us...if we lose by less than 10 points I will be proud!

This easy Pitt win will have the Ravens kicking themselves every time they see the scoreboard during their game against Wash.

Sorry guys i took Denver tonight -10.5 against a horrible raiders team. The Steelers are better than the Chargers but will def not beat them by 10. Way too many pointsand I'm from the burgh and obviously, hence the name, bleed black n gold.

You posted that on me and than ran home Monday evening, and never came back! Been searching this message board for 9 hours a day!  You forgot to pick up your response....

"My "fancy write ups" can be wrong.  But most of the time?  Click on my simulated photo, and look at the NFL on top of the page.  My record is 7-0-1 Sunday and Monday!

That's why I hit that 7-Team Parlay with RG-3!  Oh!  By the way?  While you're on my page?  You click on the Syracuse-Temple post.  You'll see that I posted eight consecutive back-to-back winners on that post, in advance!

That was another 8-Team Parlay win!  Didn't want to bring those up, unless I was attacked with someone that has no idea what they're talking about!  Wrong most of the time?  Me?  No way!  But like everyone else, I accept my losses!

Eli Manning win that game?  Did RG-3 "choke" Monday night like you said he would?  After you slammed me down, and I don't even know you, you said you would guarantee a Giants victory!  You say that? Above?

Don't be a Computer Coward, bleedblackgold!  Only five year old little girls put other people down (that they don't even know)...and run off like cowards!  Stand up like a man and back up what you say!

Only cowards post and run!     Their Losers!

P.S. the steelers always play to other teams capability. Bookies want you to think, OMG Big Ben is back! Steelers will pound the ball and throw the usual dink and donk plays

Ben settles the steel heads at home... Pitt steam rolls SD and pushes toward playoffs,,,, the axe is dangling in charger town!! Look for a mismatch on both sides of the ball.

Norvell's given up, Rivers has given up, the fans have given up, and so have I. Big Ben being back, S.D. travelling east out of the 76 degree comfort into the cold of Heinz Field - I'm predicting a bloodbath. Bookies are baiting you with that 9.5 - gotta admit, seems tempting - but don't be fooled. This game will be real ugly, real fast............

See in' a Steeler win by 4 or 5, and a Bolt cover. It all comes down to the "mailed-it-in" team vs Rusty Ben & the once mighty Steelmen.  Chargers usually perform better when the pressures off.

SAN DIEGO   + 9.5

Oh boy - that's all i had to see to confirm my bet on this matchup.  biggest troll of all "Vue" is once again betting on a loser team with no good reason to back his bet.  and then that needless handshake on top of it.  cant wait till he disappears with that wackass "database" of his.

Chargers are going to be missing 2 starting offensive lineman.  As if things aren't bad enough already with this team, this situation spells disaster for Chargers in Pittsburgh and i see Rivers coughin up a fumble and a pick with ease.  Steelers get Big Ben back and Polamalu just returned from a long absence.   this game is gonna get ugly and i'd be NORVous to be putting any $$$ on chargers from here till end of season.

Steelers minus wutevs

Tease Pitt with...... the steelers always get so much action & feedback...knowing that much of steeler nation is located outside of the state i never know which posts on this site are from "homers" because location of the poster means so little. some one said these 2 teams are headed in complete opposite directions...hah yer a homer! yes SD is terrible but pitt is not headed for another super bowl run. not saying pitt wont cover just saying pitt is a shell of their former self on both sides but especially Def...YES the DEF is ranked #1 overall but if yer a non-biased gambler & know yer football ya would know that some nfl ranks are very misleading. so many random odd stats that dont have direct impact on ATS go into the overall rank in the nfl. anyone but a homer can see that pitt isnt the dominant D it once was. especially since palamalu isnt healthy & every starting linebacker has lost a step or 2.   since i've dumped my old school old man bookie & found a solid website off the grid its enabled me to really crush "exotics" 2 or 3 team teases in football only, but especially college. in MY OPINION this week PITT is a good tease team...they fall into a perfect situation in many ways to just win this game by 3 or 4 maybe even 6...they are desperate at 7-5, trailing in the hunt for home field & dealing with wild card status currently, like most of their games this year, (not impressive) i dont trust them to beat anyone by 2 scores, i have it at 7.5...SD is terrible & will be over hauled finally at the end of the season, i mean these guys actually had a press release to announce the GM & coach will be fired after waiting 2-3 years too long to do so.. morons! but having said all that norve turner & river are the exact type of idiots that will come out & show some pride & play with desperation when it doesnt matter anymore/its too late, just like every year for the last 3 or 4. it seems like pitt should roll because its a bad team coming from the west coast for a 1pm game, but i dont think its that simple, they wont beat pitt but they have the talent on offense with some decent wide recievers to keep this from being ugly & pitt cant score consistantly so its a perfect tease spot for me.

I am TEASING PITT with CLEVELAND & they both go at 1:00 so it makes the tease less annoying.

 BOL fellas

Pitt does not cover -10 no way. They run the rock too much and Rusty Ben will throw just as many pics as Rivers will tomorrow. A late touch down pass will bring SD within 4 to 7 points. SD with the back door cover.
