Foles is legit, cannon for an arm and at 6'5 250 LBS, can be tougher to tackle. |

#31 Posted: 12/2/2012 5:57:55 PM This line stinks to high hell if u ask me. We have the most overrated team consistently every year in the nfl (cowboys) facing off against another overrated, and underachieving team. Releasing babin may actually help the eagles as a. he's useless on run downs, and b. it shows the other veterans that they are expendable.
I watched the first game as i had a huge wager riding on the cowboys in that one. I can tell you that the game was much much closer than the final score indicated. Eagles got some unlucky breaks, vick went down, a tipped pass for a pik 6, and a punt return for a td.
The cowboys offensive line is a total joke. Every game i've watched including that one romo has been under siege nearly every down. They can't run block either, and therefore cant run the football. I don't magically think that just because demarco murrays back that they are going to suddenly be decent in the run game.
Eagles o line is also terrible, but vs. the cowboys they actually played well. Last week also they dominated the line of scrimmage. Brown is a better pass blocker, and looks to have fresher legs than mccoy from what i've seen of him he's played well but is very prone to fumbling.
To me the key to the eagles covering and being competitive comes down to them running the football vs. this cowboys d. Foles isn't good enough to drop back 30 plus times and keep this close though i do believe he's talented.
My original read on this game was the eagles and although they are banged up i think the missing pieces may actually be a godscent. Eagles plus the points. |

If he can stop throwing interceptions and fumbling the ball. He's pretty accurate otherwise. |

#35 Posted: 12/2/2012 7:20:29 PM Just a worthless thought from a hopeless Homer with my Eagles.....but, this is a game that has a +430 money line!!!! Now, Philly is in all kinds of turmoil for sure......a mess if you will......but Reid just sent Babin out on the wire......has said he is gonna play some youth going forward and press some of the Vets to perform or be in jeapardy of losing their jobs......This is a big rivalry for both teams and Philly has got the better of Dallas at the most inopportune times over the last 5 years or so.......on paper, Philly should get smoked......but the intangables.......a few players fighting for recognition in the organization going forward.....a few veterans come to play sharp for the rivalry and their jobs going forward to boot!!!! And let's face it....a coach that isn't the right guy down there and in the spotlight of his nutty boss, Jerry Jones.......I think the pressure is firmly on Dallas......and they don't usually perform well in that light.......just this Philly homer's opionion.....take if for what it's worth.
A quarter pays over two units on the ML!?!?!? I'm not sayin....I'm just sayin Don't go crazy....but it's worth a few bucks in this spot I say. GL to all tonight!!!!

#38 Posted: 12/2/2012 7:38:34 PM Can it get any worse for the Eagles? One embarassing loss after another. My behind is raw from backing them last week. I'm staying away from the vaseline with sand in it. |

#42 Posted: 12/2/2012 7:44:12 PM Been a while... Good to see a few old names.. The colonel... Long time fan. Tonight--I don't see the focus being the same from both squads.... I agree the birds are playing for their jobs, but they are also anxious for the offseason with travel plans already made. Golf.. Fishing... U know... The Cowgirls have a lot to play for... The playoffs, their coach, themselves... The game will be close at half, but the cowboys will begin their run after the half... At some point the girls need to forget their owner and coach, and just play ball... They have great talent but get in their own way too often...much like their owner and coach.

#47 Posted: 12/2/2012 8:11:40 PM WHile the Eagles season is over and has been an embarrassment thus far this is a major rivalry game. Maybe I am wrong and Andy REid has completely lost his manhood but I gotta think he gets his team pumped for this game. Dallas will be pressing early, and I bet they make some silly mistakes typical of this Cowboys team. Couple that with the fact that the Cowboys cannot win let alone do so convincingly, in their own building. I think we see something out of the Dirty Birds tonight. Eagles (+10.5) Over (44) Eagles ML

GL Welcome back Griff Great to see you back posting picks. As a Giant fan I'll just kick back, watch and get a laugh out of these two clubs smacking each other around. Foles could have a breakout game here, but to bet money on it, well that's another story. BCS match-ups tonight, time to start working on the Bowl picks Griff. |

#50 Posted: 12/2/2012 8:18:18 PM I went 3-1 on the week with Atlanta, Seattle, Miami, and lost a tough one with Detroit.
I'm sticking with Dallas as my final play for the week, and really glad the W8 train scared me from backing the Titans. I will not be swayed on this one. I'm confident Dallas will have their first impressive home win of the year and win this on by at least 2 scores.
Good luck |
