#2 Posted: 11/28/2012 4:30:44 PM This could be a big line ... I want to use Baltimore as my survivor (win straight up), but I just don't know who will play, at many positions, for the Steelers ...

#3 Posted: 11/29/2012 1:34:19 AM I thought it would be like 5 or 6. I've been waiting all week to see what this number is. Today I did some searching and saw BAL - 7.5 (I was thinking I would get that and buy the hook down to 7.
I search again later in the day and am now see -8. Damn.
My book is legends and they haven't had it on the board yet and honestly don't know when they will.
Last week at 2am Sunday morning they still had the Bears/Vikes off the board.
Anyways on to the game. Really don't see a way BAL loses outright. They just find out a way to win at home. Flacco plays light years better at home than on the road.
But if indeed the line turns out to be 8, I'd have to make it a no play. I would love to see the Ravens win in a rout...but I can't let that hope and want cloud my judgment here. I have been watching these Ravens-Steelers game for a while now and there is no way I see PIT go down without a serious effort and fight, which makes 8 points seem like a lot to cover here.
Total is at 39.5. Gut says under. Wondering how PIT is going to put up more than 14-17. But if Ravens are able to score at home (and all they would need here is 24-30).
I was impressed with both secondaries in their meeting two weeks ago on SNF. Ike Taylor was fantastic on Torrey Smith. And Corey Graham made several nice defensive plays, including an interception in the 3rd Q.
May do a small play on the under. And I try to avoid teasers for the most part but I may just have to tease up the points and down the spread for the Ravens.
Thoughts? BOL everyone I will be there Sunday, extremely pumped, Place will be loud!! |

#4 Posted: 11/29/2012 7:13:15 PM Pitt is my team, but if charley biatch is starting, their offense will go nowhere. Good news is that Polumalu might return and will give a big boost to a already tuff defense that might be the only thing going for them now. No spread yet, but I'm banking on the under again |

#9 Posted: 12/1/2012 5:19:25 PM i think i am gonna go with the steelers here.. the ravens are struggling offensively and what makes you think they are all of a sudden gonna turn it up on the offensive side and blow out the steelers. the steelers got aloy of pride and their defense is very good.. now the ravens are a good team at home but they get very lucky every week and they are probably the worst 9-2 team in nfl history. I do think the steelers are lost without big ben but they do have alot of heart.. so the ravens will get lucky again and win by a field goal 23-20.. take the points all day |

There is a reason for the 1/2 point. I like the Steelers with the Points, but Ravens to win outright. Ravens shouldn't be looking for game vs Redskins. Plus Ravens surely want to keep the undefeated home record for bragging rights in the playoffs |

#13 Posted: 12/2/2012 12:41:58 AM Who thehell is balti to be laying nine to anyone? I would take the jags plus nine and a half against baltimore.
I like the under on this. Pitts defense has been holding together real good.
Teasing the nine and a half with another ten
Denver/Pitt/Houston Ten point teaser. I was going to use Carolina but the suicide thing might motivate KC. So had to chuck it out.

#18 Posted: 12/2/2012 9:18:25 AM Steelers on life support now. This could be a dangerous situation for the Ravens. Flacco is no show stopper and their D has been suspect all yr. Steeler pride will show up today and play hard nose football . Will they win? hell if i know, lol! ,,,but i will take this bloated line +8.5

#22 Posted: 12/2/2012 12:41:32 PM Not sure if anyone has payed attention but the Ravens have only covered a spread over 7pts only ONCE this year and that was against a crap @ss Raiders team with no defense. The Steelers are one of the best defenses and will prove it again tonight to cover. They won't win but they won't allow the Ravens to score all over them. This is going to be another typical smash mouth running game for both teams. Might be a nice 2 team parlay with the Under.
Yes Batch sucks, but you think Tomlinson will allow him to throw all night long?
Out of the last 10 meetings between this team, only 2 times has anyone won by more than 7 points. I like the odds of taking the team getting 7+ points no matter who's at QB for the Steelers.
