#3 Posted: 11/28/2012 6:33:33 PM I don't see any way that Denver wins this game, let alone covers 9 points. They pretty much have their division wrapped up, so what motivation do they have for a non-conference game?
Tampa is playing for their playoff lives, so they are highly motivated. Josh Freeman's numbers are comparably to Manning's as far as YPA are concerned as well as TD/INT ratio. Tampa's red zone offense is clicking at 80% their last 3 games, compared to Denver's 36% their last 3 games. I am taking TB on the ML |

#4 Posted: 11/28/2012 7:18:52 PM Gold Sheet's Take on Tampa as Underdog!
Tampa Bay 27 at Denver 29 "Don't mind "taking" with the
scrappy Buccaneers 5-1-1 as underdog under fiery coach Schiano this season. T.B. is last in pass defense (Bucs need more pass rushers), but speedy RB Doug Martin (1050 YR
gives the team a rushing attack that many teams would love to have. And, if you look closely, you'll notice that
practically perfect Peyton has thrown more interceptions (8) than the improved Jose Freeman (7). If the December weather is OK in Denver, no surprise if this one is a shoot-out (Bucs 5-1-1 "over" the last seven games; Denver "over" 7-4 TY)."
Was shocked to see one of my favorite sports betting teams (Tampa Bay) as 8 point underdogs! Tamba Bay no less than 5-0 vs. point spread on the road! And Tampa Bay now on a 6-1-1 winning point spread run last 8 games!
Denver holds slight edge on defense, but both teams dead-even on offense. Made good profits running with T.B. and won't stop now! Will trust Tampa Bay QB Freeman and RB Doug Martin to keep this one under 8 point spread!
Tampa Bay plus 8 points vs. Denver!

#5 Posted: 11/29/2012 2:30:44 PM Oh man...8 points seems like a lot considering how well Tampa has been playing. Although, their secondary might be in for a long day against the Sheriff who might smell blood in the water. Also, I'm a little weary about backing a team from Florida in Mile High.
I am going to keep an eye on this one and follow the line movement. At first glance the number seems too high, but Vegas might be setting a trap here to get action on the Bucs. Not sure what to do with this one.

This game means a lot to both teams. Denver can't afford another loss if they want a first round bye. Last week was the first time in 6 games that the Broncos were held under 30pts & that was on the road vs a division rival. I don't see the Buccs being able to stop Peyton Manning & Denver is the only team in the NFL with a top 5 offense & defense. Tampa should keep it close enough to cover but the Broncos should continue the longest winning streak in the NFL |

#8 Posted: 11/30/2012 3:08:26 PM please save the crap about Tampa needing this game and fighting for their playoff hopes. maybe if this game was in Tampa, they'd have a fighting chance vs. these Broncos but it's not and this is a very bad spot for a young team with a new coach to be in - Mile High Stadium against Hall of Famer Peyton Manning with 2 new cornerbacks > EJ Biggers and Leonard Johnson. Anyone heard of those guys??? That's what i thought. Peyton will have no trouble at all slinging the rock against this mediocre defense and they shouldnt have a hard time running the ball either. On the other side, i see Josh Freeman running for his life and Broncos forcing turnovers. Let's look at the big picture folks - this Broncos team has a chance to go to the Super Bowl. every game is big for them. and in response to toddwins post - nothing is wrapped up, bro. broncos aren't going to let off the gas until the division is won.
Bet Broncos minus wutevs. Bad spot for young Bucs team from Florida. |

#9 Posted: 11/30/2012 8:13:11 PM I agree with Sammy and MLP 100%...although i usually beg the differ with MLP. Sorry about my comments at times, I have an anger issue. But yes, i also think vegas wanted action on the Bucs. I could be dead wrong, but i think Denver wins by 14+ points. Peyton will air it out all day against a hanious bucs secondary. Bucs have the best record ATS in the nfl, and i believe they're do for a lose ATS. Plus, Denver lost there last two ATS. You know where im gettin at. Sammy makes a good point about a Florida team playing at mile high as well. Not saying thats all the differnce, but sure it helps. Den -8 |

i agree with this joe daddy and mytimetoshine. everyone on the bucs getting 7.5 and i know the bucs have played close all year i think denver gets back on track this week and wins by at least 2 touchdowns.. they have to be pissed off after that poor showing last week to the dumb chiefs..This game seams to easy to just go ahead and take the bucs so i am going denver to win 33-17 |

Denver still have a lot to play for, especially for top seed in AFC coming into playoff. Having home field in thin air during the playoff is a major advantage for Denver.

Totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!! Bucs stay close enough to easily get the cover! Lets see- Broncos- hmmmm- Oh yeah- wasn't this the same team that FAILED TO COVER AGAINST THE CHIEFS laying 10.5, and weren't these Bucs the same team that gave the now 11-1 Falcons a hard time? See- that wasn't too hard was it! So you're still convinced they're not going to cover 9.5 points? Hey JoeDaddy - don't lose your bread to some stranger, just send it to me, and I'll be nice and save you the vig.

#18 Posted: 12/2/2012 12:50:22 AM Hey -you want some trends- Denver's home favorite ATS record for years is well below 30%, and Denver is the only team NOT to have a winning record against NFC teams ATS. Oh about 25 %. Some people have to see defeat, before they're convinced. See the clock going down- See Denver leading by only 5-7 points- See Peyton hand the ball off chewing down the clock- See Peyton doing a kneel down about 15 -20 yds out- See you cursing your
TAMPA BAY + 9.5
fate- See your bookie laughing- & See me running out to collect from my man. RUN VUE RUN! |

#20 Posted: 12/2/2012 5:18:34 AM Tough call here. You gotta like the fight this year in Tampa w/Schiano and there gr8 ATS vs the number this year overall and on the road. I agree with Sammy Ace Las Vegas wants us on TB but I think Mile High will prove to be too tough for them besides Freeman is due for a bad game. Denv has Manning enough said. Denver -8, -9 or -10.
