Titans because that's what the line is telling me. Wouldn't surprise me if this is another squeak out victory for the texans with a game winning FG.

Houston has the patriots on deck and if they win that game they get the bye, could be a classic let down game and don't look sharp on defence the last two weeks, ill take ten +6(bye a half)

KNOWING THAT, A WIN HERE WILL STILL GIVE THE TEXANS A ONE GAME LEAD OVER THE PATS FOR INSURANCE.  BESIDES, TENNESSEE COULDN'T HANDLE THE JAGS LAST WEEK. . .MAYBE A BACKDOOR COVER HERE AT BEST.

This line almost feels too good to be true. Houston hasn't play since thanksgiving and will tighten up that defense. The Titans still can't stop anybody.  This should be a blowout.

Titans are my 2nd fave team.  Been following this organization since they moved to Tennessee.  And i must say - this is by far, the worst team they ever had.  Defense is filled with spotty talent, offense is led by a rookie QB, no great receivers, and coaching staff is a mess right now.  Not sure if y'all heard, but munchak had to fire OC recently cuzz Bud Adams isnt playing around anymore and quite embarrassed by his squad this year.

No reason why Texans should'nt cover here.  They're so much better than these Titans.  Also, they've got big plans for the playoffs.  They're gonna want this game to stay ahead of Pats for home field advantage.

I'm not going to reccommend that you take the Titans, but I am.  AGAIN- I'm looking for the cover, and the Texans are just looking for the win here. Don't see the Texans getting all worked up or injured, when they have more im portant things on the horizon.  Won't be surprised that the Titans play with a little gusto, as jobs are on the line.

TENNESSEE  + 6  ( for the small)

Under 47   (for the Large!)

Sorry Vue, my friend, not even overthinking this one and going with the public. Titans showed their true colors last week by getting outworked by the friggin' Crapuares........

for me, the Texans are looking ahead, and they want that playoff home field advantage........... Texans -6 - - - done, next game please.........

Good Luck Buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree w Vue. The Texans are coming off back-to-back overtime wins and are playing the Patriots next week. This would be a classic spot for a letdown game, or a "look-ahead" game, or "I just don't care, lets go through the motions" type of game. Plus, they are probably not going to give Foster a heavy workload with them playing at New England next week.

And lets not forget about the Titans last home game versus the Bears when they allowed Chicago to put up a 50 spot. Titans owner Bud Adams wasn't too happy with that embarrassing effort, and he may unleash hell if they play like that again. Then again, the Titans just lost on the road to Jacksonville. If Chris Johnson can't get it going on the ground, then you have to rely on Jake Locker to air it out on the Texans. Not crazy about putting myself in that position either.

I am probably not taking big action on this game, but I could see why the Titans could be the play. Public is gonna 2-game tease the Texans pretty bad in this one. "There's no way the 10-1 Texans could lose to the Titans"...right??

I like the under too. Texans have scored 77 points in their last 2 games. They are probably due for a cooler.

this is a game you dont overthink.. there is no such thing as a letdown game or looking ahead to the next opponent..  in the nfl everyone knows that they can get beat on any giving sunday so no team is taking another team to lightly..now the texans have been giving up a ton of points the last couple of games but what sticks out to me is that this titan team blows.. they couldnt even get across mid field against the vikings.. for real???  Ill stop watching football forever if the titans cover this game.. this spread should be 17.5.. texans win 45-13

Anyone that listens to VUE should just slit your wrist and your throat. 90% of people on Covers knows he's the kiss of death. Houston will blow Tenn and Jake Locker to his craddle. Better team wins outright here.

How do you guys feel about the free "expert" pick from Covers' own staff?

The free picks always seem to go against the public even if we say it's going to be a blowout.

Quote Teddy:

Texans injury situation on defense is a real problem right now. Already missing star linebacker Brian Cushing, they’ll also be without LB’s Brooks Reed and Bradie James here, along with pro bowl caliber cornerback Johnathan Joseph.  They’ve allowed 458 yards to Jacksonville and 525 yards against Detroit in their last two ballgames, their worst two defensive showings of the entire season.  Head coach Gary Kubiak: “I'm concerned about the health of our team right now. But that's part of this business this time of year, so we've got to figure out a way to be as good as we can be on Sunday. It's something we've got to deal with.”

Texans have had some time to recuperate.  They haven't clinched the division just yet and want to get home field advantage.

Yes they just won 2 games in overtime, but I'm sure they weren't expecting that from Henne and you can't count the Lions out.  They have the talent and the QB with the MOST passing yards in the NFL.

Now this Tennessee team, sorry but they don't have talent.  They only thing they have is CJ and he's going up against the number 2 defense for rushing yards.  He'll have his work cut out for him this week.  Kinda funny when they smashed Miami is when Locker really started playing, then they lost to the Jags outright as a favorite.  Obviously they figured out how to slow Henne down from the prior game with the Texans but still lost because they can't handle anyone.

If you can catch a team with their guard down in the NFL, anyone can beat anyone.  But you don't usually let your guard down with so much to play for, also this is still a divisional game.

True, they have some guys that are hurt but their play makers on offense aren't.  This team has proven they can outscore nearly everyone in the league and Tennessee has no defense that can stop them.

Lay the chalk.  Houston!

Bottom line Tenn sucks. My concerns with the Texans 2 straight OT games and NE on deck. Like Sammy said  Houston in a teaser all day.

Main play is a 7 pt teaser NE pk / Houst + 1/2 / SF -1/2 / GB -1.

Besides the W8 TRain likes Houst too... and I don't seem Houst losing to Tenn.

BOL !!!.

Ive noticed that if your a covers "All-star" or "Captain" like meathead w8lifter, or Colniel Jim, they post wrong NFL picks about 96% of the time. They're hired by the books to throw us "amatures" of our game. O, and if u listen to VUE, God help ya..Best of luck everyone, and go with the right pick

Since 1990 all 11 road favorites that accumulated more than 1000 total yards last two weeks lost ATS. Last 10 were upset as well. Texans are banged up, two straight overtime games, Patriots on deck...I could go on and on but I wont. Tennessee +7 is my play.

Teddy has a good point, but those injuries have been there for much more than 2 weeks. They were there when the Texans beat down Chicago too.
I've given it some thought and I'm prob not taking action on this one. For me, it's the titans or no play at all.
