Chiefs +9.5 under 42.5
Going with the dogs in this divisional televised game. It's week 9 and both teams are still trying to find themselves. Chiefs may be the hungrier team. It's been awhile since they got a "W". It may not happen here but the 9.5 looks pretty good to me.

#9 Posted: 10/30/2012 10:38:41 AM Norvell needs to be fired after that pathetic no touchdown display last Sunday against the Browns?? Are you kidding me?? And the Chiefs get housed in their own house by the friggin' Raiders?? Such a shame - such promise and so much talent on both of these teams at the beginning of the season, and now look.........
But, I digress..................
Well, K.C. got beat by these Chargers at home just like 4 weeks ago 37-20. I don't see any reason why that won't be the score again. Also, the over under being 42.5 seems awfully low for basically no defense on either side of the ball.
I might wait for Thursday, to see if the 9.5 comes down at all - but I might tease the Chargers with something else. Yeah, they're that bad.......
Over 42.5 - - Yes.........
Chargers giving that much chalk? - - Ehhhhhh, let me think about that....... |

#10 Posted: 10/30/2012 12:26:23 PM Norv Turner is a joke and Rivers is drowning but, what is with Crennel.Every time the camera is on that guy he looks like he's in watching the comic strip idea box over his head seeing if anyone can write an idea in there.
If I have to bet this game,it's teasing the spread down of SD but would prefer to simply stay |

#13 Posted: 10/30/2012 6:54:52 PM I've been tempted to stay away from games this year but caved in, just to make watching it seem interesting. This game has no interest -- a wanna be vs. a never be --thank the scheduling gods for burying this on a thurs. nite..... |

#15 Posted: 10/31/2012 1:09:30 AM Kansas City is playing with one of the weakest ranked offensive lines in the NFL and the Chargers are playing with a Defensive line rated in the top 10. I expect SD to hold KC running game at bay and Cassell is back in as the QB this week, meaning the passing problems will arise again even against a weaker SD pass coverage system.
If you look back in the season San Diego games there are two things that stand out to me
The last time San Diego was held to less than 10 points in a game they came out the following week playing against KC and blew them out 37 - 20.
San Diego is 2-1 in divisonal games ATS this season.
I am predicting a 27 - 16 win for San Diego on Thursday night

#16 Posted: 10/31/2012 4:33:54 AM Both these teams are total garbage. The chiefs might be the worst team in the nfl but the chargers aren't much better. Great job by turner and retard gm to get rid of all their good players. Gates is done, not even close to same player he used to be. Somethings wrong with rivers arm, and his footwork is atrocious. Ill take the 9.5 but i dont even plan on watching this garbage show. |

#18 Posted: 10/31/2012 1:21:22 PM Its a Thurs game. SD will be making adjustments after the terrible outing in Cleveland. KC will be trying to put together a few offensive packages with Matt Cassel in starting. I see this game staying under the total of 42.5 I dont see SD blowing out KC nor do I see KC putting up more than 1 td. Should be a 17-6 type of game

#19 Posted: 10/31/2012 3:02:24 PM i came in here thinking san diego, but the more i think about it and i ponder the first meeting, san diego got a rediculous amount of turnovers, to be honest the chargers should have won by more.this game will come down to turnovers, with an even turnover ratio, this game should be 3.5, the standard division game line. San diego is not who they used to be , and i think the best gamblers are the ones that observe changes and recognisr certain aspects of the game that are working or not working. I hated the baseball and fb giants. Theyre great to me now, just missed it the first time around. tough game to cap here, anyways i dont see much on the football card that jumps out like last week. good luck to all |

#20 Posted: 10/31/2012 3:36:38 PM Let's give the Chargers a mulligan last week. They played in shitty weather, which they are not used to. They have home cookin this week, so they should be much more comfortable in their own skin.
Let's analyze the QB position. Rivers sucks, but Cassels is suckier.
With the home field advantage and qb advantage, you have to take the Chargers laying the 7.5 pts. Besides, Norv Turner is coaching for his job, so every game from hereon out is critical for him and his team. |

#25 Posted: 10/31/2012 8:09:30 PM Lousy coaches breed lousy teams. Chargers give me the creeps as home favorites. The Bolts are giving 9.5! There is no home field advantage in southern Cal. That's why the Raiders went back to Oakland, and the Rams over to St. Louie. Both Crennel & Turner are terrible!. Yeah- they both showed such promise, but lately they just fizzled into oblivion. The Broncos will probably win the division by default. I can't get a good handle on taking a side in this game, but they both know each other very well. I'm seeing it either as a boring contest, or a small blow out by one of them. Give me -
