E. Manning and Roethlisberger in a shoot out…  With that said, put me down for Pittsburgh plus a field goal AND Over the Total for a Nickel apiece please.  Thanks!

I watched the Giants build a 23 point lead (btw should have been more if they would have got TD's instead of FG's) and then almost lose the game.  That actually bodes well this week because Tom C. is pissed.  That game was at Dallas.  Now they're at Home riding the emotion of Sandy.  I don't like Pitt's ability to defend the deep ball and Cruz is tearing it up right now.  Eli will take advantage of this mismatch.

with all this talk about hurricane sandy hurting the giants, it also hurts pittsburgh also. very little know that the steelers wont fly into NYC till today due to the storm. NFL teams are used to a routine , and if that doesnt throw your team off schedule , then what does.anyways i kinda like the giants getting 7 on a 10point teaser and maybe dropping the over down to 37.5 on a 10point teaser

Like the Giants here, much better team and Pittsburgh not getting in until this morning. Always scared of the Giants laying a stinker at home, but don't think it happens here as they seem to be showing a little more consistency during the regular season this year.

Giants -3 (-130)

Sammy ace u live in hobeken?thats my home town and its like a war zone down there right now!!!this def. affected the giants practice and lives, but i could see some good home cooking from the refs in this one!!!two of americas fave teams.this is a hard one!!!

Reading between the lines here, Steelers pull the huge upset.

Prayers to those effected by the storm.

MATTER OF LIFE

Bunch of interesting points related to this game, all but few hits it on the nail.
As mentioned by one living in NJ, lines are long, frustration grows with players and relatives dealing with matters of life over football.
Think about it, NYC marathon was cancelled .
The right move .
Think it's natural to move on,business as usual to a certain degree but as a Giants season ticket holder and not going to this game,I am wondering under these circumstances how many who are fighting for gas just to stay warm ,would feel about those pissing off such a valuable commodity driving to a tailgate ,to go see a game.
Mr. Goodel ,game could of been moved to another date but that would cost the NFL too much money.
What comes around . . .

Just saying.

As for the game, make no mistake, Giants staff, organization ,players are less focused on the game and more towards family matters.
That's typical of the class organization of Giants .
Coach Coughlin 's emotions ran high commenting on game prep ,putting things in proper perspective .
Consider Giants have a comfortable divisional lead and face non division Bungels next week, before bettin' large on Blue.
If this were a divisional game, one could feel different about mental prep for today's game but vs. Non conference Pittsburgh ,this sould be a low scoring, old fashion  grind game with more sense of urgency for Pitt to keep up with Balty whereabouts Giants have no such worries.

Sandy distractions can only make things worst for Giants 29th  ranked secondary vs. surging Pitt O with Rothsburger having stellar year, eluding sacks as usual while
Pitt's # 1 ranked pass D will prove problematic for Eli.

Would Love to see Gigantes pull out it out for NJ but can't help feeling that Blue will be affected thinking about more serious matters ,considering comfortable divisional lead they have.

PITT 19 GIANTS 16

I can really see what BIG Ben is talking about with that Todd Haley character…  That was the stupidest series of play calls on 2nd down with one yard to go on the Giants three yard line.  He needs to understand he “ain’t” in Kansas City no more…  This is Steelers football…  Hand the ball off behind that BIG Axx offensive line and ground and pound for the first down/touchdown and stop trying to be so daxn cute!  That fuxker screwed up my Over...

At any rate, nice piece of work Pittsburgh and Under backers!

Nice call regarding the  homecooking by the refs at NY.

Luckily it didnt ruin the outcome of the game as far as sides go.
