#51 Posted: 11/5/2012 2:59:42 PM gonna take the Saints -3 here. It all comes down to Vick throwing interceptions, and I'm betting he does. Vick is a tough guy and wants to win but he just isn't that accurate a passer and he has got the crap beat out of him the last few years. Brees on the other hand is up there with Rogers and Brady. The talent level at the QB position isn't measured by how fast you can run or how hard you can throw it is how fast and accurate you are in finding the one open reciever on the field. |

#52 Posted: 11/5/2012 3:08:31 PM Roger Goodell hates the Saints. He wants to see them suffer. Eagles are 1-5-1 ATS. They're due to cover. If you agree with this horrible logic and want to win money, take the eagles tonight. |

I like your contrarian nature. These teams scored a combined total of 31 points last week. Although everyone was saying take the over of the USC-Oregon game too and everyone was right!! (I think there was over a 100 points scored).
There's just something about these two teams playing on Monday Night Football at the Superdome that makes me feel like it definitely won't be a snoozer. I would maybe take the under if it were a 1:00 game in Philly. Does that make sense?
Anyway, I'm just going to torture myself again by taking the Eagles and hoping they lose by 1 point so the Gmen don't get hurt in the standings.
Good luck everyone. |

#59 Posted: 11/5/2012 4:04:29 PM I agree with lordzud in Vick throwing INTs. He already tries to do more than his responsibilities, (tries to be the "Hero"). That is during the regular scenarios of an NFL season, he holds on to it too long getting sacked or desperately throws a inaccurate pass turning into an interception. Well now he's under rediculous pressure to save his and his coaches jobs. I believe he'll play in conrtradict to his "Players only meeting" stating we all have to know our roles and if everyone does what they're supposed to do as a an individual, well perform better as a team blah ,blah ,blah.
I see him trying to be even more of a Hero, and throw a few INTs get sacked a handful of times and reduce the oppurtunities to score. Add that to NO's porous offense and we'll see a game going UNDER the 52 point total. |

#61 Posted: 11/5/2012 4:52:28 PM Philly wins this one outright. Andy Reid's job is on the line so i think he will have his team ready to play tonight. He is good at creating mismatches and exploiting other teams weaknesses and in this case that will be NO's D. They are just awful, MCcoy and Jackson will have big games and are going to shred this terrible saints DPhilly +3.5 |

#62 Posted: 11/5/2012 5:04:01 PM if the eagles players are calling "meetings" things are alot worse in philly than they seem ... the depth of the issue (whatever they might be) is usually way beyond repair ... all the team meetings in the world aren't going to cure it ... with everything at stake for Andy Reid, Mike Vic etc ... i think they'll still find a way to come out flat and look like garbage ...
give me New Orleans and the under

Goodell hate the Steelers and look how the refs gave the giants all those calls and still the Steelers won. |

#67 Posted: 11/5/2012 6:05:00 PM The saints defense is just so so awful, whereas the eagles will get some stops, lesean should have a big game. I have to bet the eagles in this one even though i don't have alot of faith in vick, i have even less faith in the saints defense to make him look bad. Both teams have bad losses, but the one that sticks out to me is the saints loss at home to the chiefs. The chiefs are behind bad but this new orleans defense cant stop even behind bad teams.
Coaching is the deciding factor to me. The saints seem completely lost, and have no faith in their head coach. I know the eagles have really sucked but andy reid hasn't forgotten how to coach, he'll get more out of his players in a must win game than lame duck coach in new orleans. Give me the eagles plus the points for a small standard bet. Like i said i dont have alot of faith in vick if i did id bet much more. Gl to all.

#69 Posted: 11/5/2012 6:18:03 PM I agree the Saints defense is down right Terrible, I also don't trust Michael Vick to not throw interceptions.. I still think the saints can score 30 at home on this Philly defense.. I think it's a toss up.. The more desperate team will win, and Philly at least has a coach. I hate Philly But I think they have the better team and coaching staff. |

#73 Posted: 11/5/2012 6:38:12 PM I love the Eagles tonight.....not just as a fan.....but the position they sit in.......all teams in the East lost yesterday.....Philly is a great road dog play for the last decade!!!! I'll me on the ML......might be a sucker tonight, but if there was ever a team that was due for an offensive game......it's Philly tonight!!!!! New Orleans can't run it(not that Philly is well) and they can't stop anything.....last in the NFL.......Gotta take Philly and the over in a shootout. N. O. has a great record at home over the last 12 games though..... |

I agree my friend......in principle buddy. Philly is like ND and the Bears......they just don't play so great at home and usually bring it as road dogs!?!?!? It's just one of those things.......I gotta go the other way tonight........but no level of ineptitude will surprise me about either of these teams performances tonight ......I just think they will both be explosive and going for broke with all the weapons all over the field. GL though buddy!!! I'll be on the Money Line and the over
