BROWNS will be fighting close with this one and possibly win the game.

I came on this post to read about the Thursday night game and not hear all you cry babies whine about how you lost money. You really think the game was rigged for Seattle to cover? Then why the darn would the refs call a pass interference penalty on the Seahawks with around 10 minutes left in the game???? Seattle was winning at the time and this play gave Rodgers a chance to do what he does great.  No one in their right minds would call this penalty at that time and field position if they truly had the game rigged. Not stop your bitching and talk about the Ravens Browns game you babies!

Well....if your looking for the BEST bet here is a little info for you

Thursday Games since 2009:

Under - 66.7%
Home Team - 17-10
Team that won also Covered - 85%

........so lets assume you think the Browns have no shot at actually winning the game....then based on pure statistics you would have to tease BALT AND THE UNDER

We have some reverse line movement going on here....hard to explain it really.  The initial "sharp" money went on Baltimore and forced the line from -12.5 to -13. But now we are seeing the line coming back down.  Its possible they went early on the Ravens to get the 13 and bought it back even heavier.....its got to be that or just plain old bluff line movement.  No way the public is pounding the Browns.  The only way I would consider taking the Browns is if I bought it to 13.  Maybe there is some other news we don't know.  Hard to explain line movement, however, I have tracked reverse line movement a LITTLE BIT and have found that if you take the reverse it loses at a slightly higher percentage.

IM GOING RAVENS -12 UNDER 44

THIS IS A REAL TOUGH ONE. BALTIMORE IS PLAYING THEIR 4TH GAME IN 18 DAYS TONIGHT. THAT IS NOT MUCH REST. ANY THOUGHTS ON THAT?

Well since we're all throwing our records around in this thread, MY NFL regular season record is 16-7 which is 69.57%.  There are some people I follow and respect their opinions, like Vue, but on this one I will be taking the opposite of his.  After an emotional home win last week vs NE and a quick turn around for today vs the 0-3 Brownies I expect a little let down.  That said, I hate the fact this is in Balt.  BUT, I expect a "somewhat" competitive match tonight and a cover by the dog.

Cleveland +12

GL all,

Tex aka Tony Bucca

I agree with you Tex-101. Additionally,  I need some feedback from all of you that have very and respectable opinions .  What do you think of a team (without very young players) having 4 games in 16 days?  Can affect the performance of the Ravens and the way of facing this game?  Thanks in advance... Originally I was completely with Raven -13, now I have my doubts...!!!!

Everything says no way cleve will make this competitive and with a revamped balt offense a big time blowout. You got a cleve off highlighted by two rookies, one which is the worst qb in the league. That being said, new england and philly showed  that passing...the way to exploit the ravens d.  This will be closer than people think. 27-20  CLE and OV for the large. Trust me im a doctor

3rd down conversions will be the defining stat of the game. neither of these teams are exactly hitting at a good clip on those. This is a rivalry game and why people think that Bmore is simply going to blow them out of the water is ridiculous SQUARE thinking. %70 of the money is on the Ravens yet we have a stiff line that hasnt really moved from its opening number..Vegas is setting everyone up for failure...ive been doing this for entirely too long to drink the kool aid...best of luck which ever way you all go but im with the sharps on this one....CLEVELAND ALL DAY!

Heres a few things to consider....

Both teams playing in the short week...
Both teams have a gamebreaker type RB...
Both teams are very familiar with one another...
Rivalry Game..Rivalry Game..Rivalry Game
Both offenses have "shaky" QBs running them...
Both offenses dont allow the QBs to make decisions..
Baltimore got help from the refs to beat NE..it also took alot out of them...and they DID NOT COVER a -2.5 spread....

bottom line if this was week 10 and we had more of a sample of games to go off of i may reconsider my stance on this game...but based off experience...Double Digits is a lot of chalk to be laying this early in the season based off who the Ravens have played...and let us not forget Browns held the "best offense in the nfl" Philadelphia Eagles to 17 pts..this wont be a cakewalk by any means for Bmore...

Athletes are in phenomenal shape, you do need rest to recover a bit, but come game time these guys body's are ready to go trust me.  Its the game plan that suffers and the lack of practice in preparation for your opponent.  This usually creates a sloppy game where you rely on your bread n butter.  For both teams this should be the run game.  UNDER

Doc

Tex

thinking the same thing here with the Cleveland Clowns ... they are sooo young ... i really think the short turn around and lack of expectation will really help them ... i still think they lose ... gun to head, i think they make it a close enough game to cover and be perfect fade material next week ...

Vue and Oahu   don't like being on the opposite side
