Um, that's what I thought about the Dallas Cowgirls. Refraining from this game.

Wells boys, i'm riding the Seattle train again on Monday night. This team is dangerous this year and they proved that against the Boys this past Sunday at the Link. Like i said last week, this team is another beast when they play at home. They ride the energy of the 12th man like it's no one's business. I've been to many games at the Link and let me tell you, you can't even hear yourself talk to the person next to you. Mix that with a nationally televised game? Scary. We all saw what happened in the playoffs in January of 2011, when the Saints walked into the Link as 14 point favorites and then walked out crushed.. Let me also mention that Seattle holds the best MNF winning percentage in the whole league with a 17-8 record. Basic math tells us that's a 68% winning percentage.

Let's be real, the Packers have not played that well this year. Negate the returned punt for a touchdown (due to a blatant block in the back) against the 9er's and the game isn't even close. Same goes for their game vs the Bears. They converted on a one in a million fake FG play on 4th and long and the Bears were still in it until the end and the Bears played horribly. I think people fail to realize this. They just haven't looked sharp. They also don't have a running game. Yes, they rushed for 100 yards vs the Bears but that was vs a D that had their captain and primary run stuffer in Brian Urlacher, playing on an obvious injured knee in which he hurt last season. Seattle was ranked in the top 5 last year in rushing defense and are even better this year. I see the run game for the Packers being nonexistent. This is gonna force Aaron Rodgers to throw the ball a lot. Yes, he is the reigning MVP but he hasn't looked sharp either. His accuracy compared to last season has been way off. Mix that with a Seattle defense with one of the best secondaries in the league and it spells disaster. This secondary is big and nasty and are referred to as the "Legion of Boom." They manhandled the cowboys Sunday and their receivers didn't want to have anything to do with them. Just read this and maybe you'll understand what this secondary is running with. Brandon Browner, CB, 6'4 221 lbs., Kam Chancellor, SS, 6'3 231 lbs., Richard Sherman, CB, 6'3 195 lbs. (held Fitzgerald to 4 receptions for 63 yards and Dez Bryant to 3 receptions for 17 yards) and Earl Thomas, FS, 5'10 202 lbs.. These guys are no joke. The Packers are gonna have to try to establish a running game because there is no way Rodgers can beat Seattle by just passing the ball. I'm telling you this right now. Running the ball is very important in the NFL as i'm sure many of you are already aware of. Keeps the defense on their toes.

In all, i see Seattle winning this game straight up. Like i said before, i see Seattle shutting down Green Bay's run game which forces Rodgers to have to rely on just passing the ball and against this secondary is a big no-no. Look for Marshawn Lynch to have a huge game as Seattle feeds the Beast and manages the game. Russel Wilson should also have a solid performance as he looked to have found himself vs the Cowboys. I'm aware that the Packers have had extra time to prepare for this game but, then again, so did Dallas last week and we all saw how that ended. I also see traveling all the way to the Pacific North-West causing Green Bay trouble. These guys are human, no matter how much we perceive them as super heroes. Remember, the Seahawks are one dropped ball away from being 2-0.

Taking Seattle ML at +165

Sea +3 5 unit max play.  Didn't we learn anything from last week?  Same spread and situation!
Seattle (at home) has an amazing run game and defense.  I'm sold on this live home dog.

O.K. - I'm assuming we all saw what Clay Matthews & Co. did to Cutler, right? What do you think they're going to do to an untested rookie who is still basking in the glow of his first big win of his career over Dallas last week? You think he's ready to run with the big dogs and play a huge Monday Night primetime game?

Green Bay with extra time off? 3 Points?!?!?!

3 POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The score will be 7-3 Packers by the end of the first quarter, the "12th Man" will lose interest somewhere in the middle of the second quarter when Wison throws his second pick, or fumbles after taking his third sack, and the Packers are up 21-3 at halftime - - and they will never look back...........

The 12th Man will lose interest in the 2nd quarter? Highly, highly doubtful. The stadium will be rockin' whether it be a 20 point win or a 20 point loss, that i can assure you.

I'm still thinking about this game.   At first, I was inclined to back the Pack, then I looked at a stat that made me think twice about that.

Packers led the NFL in scoring last year with 35 points/game.    But in their last 7 games, starting with the playoff loss to the G-men, Pack have averaged less than 20 points/game.    Take away the 4 preseason games, and their points scored is still under 22 pts/game.     That makes me think that the Seahawks have a decent chance to win SU, or at least play them close

Gotta think about this one some more

Good write up L-Jay. I agree with you specifically on the seattle secondary....they are big and good.....

If Seattle can establish the running game and control the clock leaveing Rodgers on the sidelines.....watch out. Definately a live dog here...

Brilliant post by L-Jay.  Finally, someone who has studied the game of football.  Quite refreshing.  Same can't be said for babygus tho as his post is not only in annoyingly bold caps, but it's also irrelevant and unfunny.  Those types of posts really ruin threads in which we're being serious.  But im sure babygus was just burnin some time while his Drive Thru was empty.

These Hawks are solid all-around and Pete Carroll has them headed in the right direction.  Theyve always played Green Bay tough and now they have them in their house on a Monday Nite.  Aaron better brace himself cause it may be a long nite.  Hawks defense is nasty.  Russell Wilson will be around for years to come and Lynch may have a field day against this porous 3-4 defense of Green Bay.  Times have changed, my friends, and this is not the same Green Bay Super Bowl team.

Hawks ML

I'm sure A-Rod and Green Bay defense with 3 extra days to rest and prepare is scared of the Seattle Seachickens and their rookie QB on monday night.GB just won a Thursday night game. I think Pete Carrol is a great coach, and I think they could be a contender with a better more experienced QB. Seachickens had their fun last week. I don't see Green Bay going 1-2, they will escape with a win. If Seattle wins this game you might as well throw away the notion that Rodgers in the best QB in this league. Worst you can probably do is push taking the Pack -3, and it's -2.5 (-115) in my book right now.

I agree with Jorge's in-depth analysis..like Seattle but not ready to back, I think a scenario like Quad described is likely.  GLTA.

The public is all over GB in this one. Just under 75% of bets on GB. Who else had this public backing on sunday? Lions, Steelers, 49ers. And how did those teams fare?

So you're saying the public is statistically due for a win
