#2 Posted: 9/18/2012 8:29:11 AM I like the giants here.. I know they got lucky last week but good teams get a little lucky from time to time. I still think the bucs are trying to find their way anyway. Here we go the Panthers cant run the ball. Newton led the team in rushing last week its pothetic. I know the panthers put up a ton of points last wek but the saints are lost without their coach. that team is a joke. Giants good road team they win by 10 points. 24-14. |

#5 Posted: 9/18/2012 9:46:07 AM So Manning throws 3 picks against the Bucs "D" and still wins? By that logic, he could throw 4 against this Carolina team and still win by 2 TD's.
bkg1010 is right, the Giants "D" is a little beat up, but as long as Nicks and Cruz are healthy, it's "bombs away" on the offensive side, and you just know it'll come down to 1:14 left on the clock in the fourth, 2 time outs, and Manning has the ball on the Giants 30, down by 4..... And you know what happens then.....
Gimme the G'aints in the pick 'em for the small - and the WAAAAAAAY over 50 for the big! |

#6 Posted: 9/18/2012 4:05:30 PM Agreed on the over, neither team has anything resembling a pass defe nse. I am loading up on the over. If freeman can ding the giants secondary imagine what Cam can do. We all know what the giants can do against a week pass defense. This goes into the sixties.
Backing up the fooking truck and loading up on the over. |

#9 Posted: 9/18/2012 9:12:14 PM I don't like how the G-Men (Coughlin & Manning) reacted at the end of that Tampa Bay game. They cried like wussey boys because of an over zealous hit. There is a crack in the Giant armor.
Carolina - 26 New York - 15
Panthers +1 Under 51
Newton will expose the Giants weaknesses.
Carolina - Under. |

#10 Posted: 9/18/2012 10:05:25 PM I'll post my picks tomorrow night or some time Thursday but so far it's looking like Panthers and under everybody think both teams defense will play sorry and the over looks like the easy pick but I'm not sure if it's the right pick |

#11 Posted: 9/18/2012 10:53:25 PM The Giants were NOT that good last year. They hit a late season surge, and swept by teams by sheer luck, and teams with mediocre defenses, on their way to a SB victory. So it comes as little surprise ,with a big " target on their backs", that they are struggling early on. In spite of their injuries, they are much, much better than the Panthers. Cam or no Cam-the Panther defense sucks. Eli should have a field day! I'll gladly give them the 1 measily point- they're gonna need it!
N Y GIANTS - 1 |

#12 Posted: 9/18/2012 11:44:29 PM Giants are overrated, Freeman picked apart Giants Defense....Manning was lucky with a few of his WR slipping tackles and going in for the score .....Cam Newton and Panthers will show up for the Thursday nighter!
Panthers +1.5 |

#19 Posted: 9/19/2012 4:25:15 AM Eli is still Eli. He has the experience to work with whatever offensive weapons he has (healthy). If Carolina (which is my team) had a better defense I might would go with them but........ Giants and IDK about the total, I'm sitting that part out.

#21 Posted: 9/19/2012 2:36:26 PM Give me the Panthers +1. The Giants had the luxury of opening the season with two straight home games, and the defense looked horrible in both. I think the NO and the NYG have similarly horrible defensive secondaries, so look for the Panthers to light it up.
Panthers +1
And oh, BTW, Giants finish season 8-8. |

#23 Posted: 9/19/2012 4:15:01 PM SORRY FELLAS.....BUT THE BEST PLAY HERE IS THE UNDER. I EXPECT TO SEE A LOT OF QB DRAWS AND SHORT PASSES FROM THE PANTHERS WHILE THEY TRY AND CONTROL THE BALL. GIANTS WILL TAKE SOME SHOTS BUT ELI IS GONNA GET PICKED A COUPLE TIMES AND THERE WILL PROB BE SOME SLOPPY PLAY ALL AROUND.
UNDER 51
