Tampa Bay - 31 Carolina - 23
Buccaneers +1 over 46.5
When the o/u line is more than 40 in Bucs games I like their chances.
Tampa Bay - Over. |

#6 Posted: 9/4/2012 6:17:53 PM The Bucs retool with a new coaching staff, and with same lackluster players, in an obvious attempt to rebuild the sinking "pirate ship" @ Raymond James Stadium. The Panthers are well away into their second year of rebuilding. If Ron Rivera and Cam Newton correct LY silly mistakes, the team has enough talented players, to pull off the expected "big win", in what appears to be a mismatch!
CAROLINA - 1 (PRIME PLAY!) |

#8 Posted: 9/6/2012 12:24:51 AM Im refraining til I see the bucks defense in action in a real game and the panthers's. Remember how sucky the Panthers defense was last year gang. More info needed before I risk my cash on either of these teams. |

not sure carolina has any more talented players than the bucs do. they have a worse defense and a one man band to run the show.
bucs have been looking forward to this game all offseason and built their strategy to counter the panthers - just like dallas did all offseason with the giants. expect to see a similar game here to that one.

#10 Posted: 9/6/2012 8:19:57 PM These two teams always play close. Josh Freeman is a talented quarterback who is more than capable of putting up points, I think he is really going to utilize Vincent Jackson this year. Cam is riding high on all the hype right now. I like the Home Dog baby!

#11 Posted: 9/7/2012 1:27:23 AM If you look at last years 2 wins vs TB the panthers dominated even with a horrible def, this yr they have a stud LB core and finally 2DT that can take up space and free the LB to do what they can do, Still not sold on Freeman, with him losing weight dont think thats gonna help, and VJax one hit or run away from a pulled hammy oor turf toe. Car offense will be tough to slow, Preseason is vanilla off vs vanilla def
Car -1.5

Bucs ranked last both rushing + scoring D allowing 31 Pts avg. per game.
Panthers outscored Bucs 86 - 35 LY
Addition of Wide out L. Murphy + Steve Smith = Double trouble
PANTHERS 24 BUCS 13
