#4 Posted: 1/16/2012 2:09:21 AM Here is my prediction for Super Bowl 2012
AFC: NE vs Baltimore: Baltimore (why?) Baltimore has never won super bowl. NE had couple super bowsl in the past.
Baltimore is the play
NFC: Giants vs SF: Both teams have win super bowl in the past, but SF will advance to super bowl 2012:
SF is the play
Super bowl 2012
SF vs Baltimore: I like SF but I think Vegas will give Baltimore to win super bowl 2012. They deserve to win the super bowl.
Baltimore is the play

#9 Posted: 1/16/2012 7:58:59 AM ....Defense wins games................and GB didn't have the calibar of defense nor hunger to execute thier game "plan"against the G-men. Add in several turnovers = 1st round playoff loss, after a bye and 3 weeks rest for Rodgers.
That being said, Niner's D is on point, home game and SF is just playing great football at the right time.

Really! Hate to bust your bubble, but S.F. looked petty good and as for rookie QB Alex Smith has been in the league for 7 years. rekamyenoM if you don't know what your talking about you really should not post! |

I like your picks Rek but FYI - Alex Smith is not a rookie.. He's in his 7th year.... He played well against the NO defense but he will be pressured all day by the Giants defensive front. Rodgers had no chance yesterday, so I don't see Smith doing alot. Giants +2.5 GL.

#14 Posted: 1/16/2012 11:50:26 AM Early lean on the 49ers....
I doubted the GMEN and lost with the Packers yesterday.... but they couldn't play defense so I'm gonna go with the dominate defense at home... but I'll wait until the game gets to a pickem..... the public will hammer that line down....
Gmen gotta fly home to practice, then all the way cross country to SF.....
I can't see the Giants running on this team, and they're secondary also looked really good last week.... their ability to force turnovers is the X-factor in my opinion....
I also think the 49ers will have success running the ball against the Giants....
I would be suprised to see Alex Smith drop back 42 times....
it's just not going to be that kind of game.....
49ers have been suprising me all season....
I won with them vs. the Saints, and I think they continue to suprise...
GL TO ALL!
SF Pickem.... when the line says so!

#17 Posted: 1/16/2012 1:29:20 PM GB had so many dropped balls by receivers the g-men got a pass. Plus that hail mary by Eli at the end of the first half was pure luck. niners defense was flippin aggro and will burgle the ball all day long. Niners and Pats superbowl.

GB averaged 36.8 points a game. The true score of the game was 37-6 against a 15-1 team @ home. The Giants were playing GB and the refs. Scores against the Giants last 4, 14, 14, 2 & 20. I say SF scores 10 or 14. Last game against SF the 49ers ran for 77 yards. I think Bradshaw didn't play for the Giants either. Now it's NYGs + 3.0. |

Remember GB's game in New Jersey? GB also dropped alot of passes. What makes someone do that? Pressure. Pressure on the QB, pressure on the WRs who are not exactly where they are suppose to be, thinking more about running with the ball then catching it. Niners are going into a woodchipper this weekend. Giants and Pats/Ravens SB. Either case this will be a SB repeat. |

#22 Posted: 1/16/2012 4:11:26 PM Bottom line is Giants are playing the best football right now. They are healthy and have weapons. They also have the better qb and coach. They SPANKED Atlanta and GB. Ride em.
