#5 Posted: 11/17/2009 1:57:37 PM I think Carolina is giong to win this at home....
it just seems a little to easy....
both teams run the football well so I would initially lean towards the UNDER... but Miami has been putting points up every week... only NE held them to under 20....
probably going to stay away from the total...
GL TO ALL! |

#6 Posted: 11/17/2009 2:12:10 PM I'm with everybody so far - I think the Panthers are for real & Miami's Wildcat "gimmick" is wearing thin. Panthers by a bunch.

#11 Posted: 11/17/2009 6:04:32 PM Couple of thoughts on this game:
Panthers -3 is disrespectful to the Fins. So the books are saying that these 2 teams are even? Is you kiddin me?
Joey Porter should be back. Thankfully it will be in a very limited role. thank you Coach T for being a big enough man to put to this fool in his place. Miami is now playing defense with 11 men. With Charlie Anderson and pass rushing demon Cameron Wake in the game, the Dolphins pass rush drastically is better.
Ronnie Browns loss is HUGE. However, I is still much anxious to see what Reefer Ricky and Pat White will do with expanded playing time. |

#12 Posted: 11/17/2009 7:36:48 PM Play the OVER!! My book has it at 42.5. I think you'll find yourself around 30 at halftime with the home team down. Carolina will be forced to fight back and may or may not win, but will score trying. I'm not sold on the wildcat, but Henne, Ginn, & Williams are a nice trio to bet with. If Carolina had more consistent QB play, I would find myself on the other side of this equation. (Yes I saw the horrible throw Henne made Sunday, but he bounced back and won)
I like Miami to cover... I think they win outright, on the road, against a weaker NFC opponent! I think Vegas would like you to think Atlanta is somehow comparable to the Saints, but this just isn't conceivable. If Miami does lose, I don't think they lose by more than a field goal. (My book has the line at 3.5)
NFL Network... The NFL runs this garbage. They like viewers and won't let them down. This should be a nice rebound game from Monday. Holy HELL!!! I knew it would be bad, but not that bad!!! |

#13 Posted: 11/17/2009 10:33:18 PM Weird...but the money seems to be on the Over but the total has dropped. Probably due to Ronnie Brown being out but still.
Anyone have any thoughts on the total?

NFL
Mami @ Carolina +3 O/U 42.5
Mami will put a lot of points up they dont have Brown playing so it is a Low Over/Under for this game with MIA puting up 20+ points every game this season but one agenst NE and CAR pting up 20+ 6 times in last 8 I can see a high scoreing game in this one. The WildCat is starting to get stoped by defences now and Brown being injured are making MIA not looking so good now but I still see them puting up 20+ Delhome is on a streek going 3 TD 0 INT doing beter then the 4 TD 13 INT start.MIA defense is leting 240 pass yards per game and delhome and Carolina's running game will take advantage of this and put up some points. No team realy stands out to me has being a winner in this one both teams are 4-5 and need a win.

#19 Posted: 11/18/2009 12:16:14 PM I was really high on the Panthers until I found out Stewart wasn't playing, but I still think they're going to win. They have been playing better football as of late and Ronnie Brown is the worse player that could ever get hurt for the Dolphins. That Wildcat is very complex and he is a much stronger runner than Pat White. Also, Carolina's secondary is one of the best in the league and Bess and Ginn are not the toughest matchup to begin with. Low scoring game I'm taking the Panthers and the Under.

#22 Posted: 11/18/2009 9:09:20 PM I like this game more and more... I'm putting my play in now, so I can lock in the line/total. I think it will move a little tomorrow and I like it right where it is. I've watched both teams play a couple of times and I am simply going off a gut feeling and not a "trend" or particular stat.
I'd like to take a moment and express my deep admiration for NFL Redzone (Channel 82 for all you Dish Customers). If you have the opprotunity/means to purchase the channel, do it. It's worth it! No commercials, every score is shown live (if possible), and up to the second stats & scores make it a degenerate's bestfriend. No sales pitch here, as I have zero affiliation with either the NFL or Dish for that matter, but I am one that likes to spread the word if there is a particular product, or service that I feel is exceptional.
Final play(s)... Ov 42.5 ($2) & Miami +3.5 ($1)
Good Luck to ALL!! |

#24 Posted: 11/19/2009 12:03:17 AM With these Thur games the team that has to do less traveling benefits from a short week. Ronnie Brown WAS the wildcat. This will hurt. The Panthers injury report looks Belichicklike. The over and home team usually takes the Thur thunder. Delhomme has been removed from the equation offensivewise. Lets get that large with CAR and OV. |

#25 Posted: 11/19/2009 12:06:37 AM Another thing too my gambling brothers. Delhomme has not thrown a pick in last three games further explaining my notion of they are minimizing him in favor of the run. Get that large. |
