nothing helps fix an 0-4 start like an inner division home game against a team that you've giving fits to.

I am a Titans fan and this teams Pass D is bad has been bad for the last year and a half. They have been exposed and that was when they were healthy they possibly may have 3 of there starting DB's out of this game. No disrespect to David Garrard and Jacksonville but he passed for 323 yds what in the hell do you think Peyton Manning is going to do. Peyton will slice this D to pieces he will throw when and were he wants to.  INDY - 3.5 is a gift

Titans are 32nd overall in pass defense...Peyton is in superbowl form already...he is going to pick apart that secondary. IND -3.5

do you really think that the books give "gifts"?  the colts have been favored by more than this in tennessee in the past... why not now when the disparity between these two team's stock is at an all time high, would the line not be at least a touchdown?  Titans are hungry for a win and know how to give peyton fits.  I wouldn't be surprised to see peyton weave some late game magic, but as of now, i can't fathom the colts covering the number

...because everyone is thinking like you that titans are hungry for a win?...titans are too good (last year) to go 0-5?...taking the colts looks too easy?...I, for one, will NOT bet against manning on primetime nfl football

yeah its a fishy line allright... where is pro-z? what does he think here...

but like stated above, just how could ya bet against manning right now? should we take it now or buy it to a field goal? will it go up as kickoff approaches sunday night? won't 95% of the $ be on the colts anyways?

whatsupp dude 1618...

omg man i had a bad week last week but i put 5000 on favre and the boys and they came through.. i made some money lol.

anyways if the jags took apart this sorry ass d then payton will too. i mean payton went to seatle and took them apart, he went to miami and won it, arizona came to them and he destroyed them. i think payton will cover the point. i don't think the titans want to even live now lol, smart play take indi early. there is no tricks here the team is just streight up bad this year.

yeah I agree this line scares the crap outta me....

Tennesse is watching Miami game film and they will be running the ball every down....

yah never know, if they keep the Colts off the field for 40 mins, which is possible, Manning might have to come back in the 4th quarter to win the game let alone cover... hence that half point....

Tenn does get to the qb pretty well.... and they are home, but they were torched by Schaub at home so I don't know...

I am staying away good luck to all....

you can agree all you want because what he is saying is true.. but these teams are always close when they play so i'm staying away.. and everyone remember it is easy for manning to cover but it is not easy for the titans to keep getting fucked up. this is a devisional game and the two teams know each other... i'm for sure staying away unless the line is -3 colts. good luck

The Titans are off to their worst start since beginning 0-5 in 2006, and those Super Bowl aspirations aren't looking so good. Only one team has started 0-4 and reached the playoffs - San Diego in 1992.

Despite the awful start, coach Jeff Fisher is trying to stay positive. His 2002 team started 1-4 but managed to reach the AFC championship game.

"They'll find a way out of this, and that's all we can do," Fisher said. "I know I've said this before, but you come back and you work and you try to find a way to win the next game and keep your focus on improving."

Fisher is sticking with Kerry Collins at quarterback rather than switching to Vince Young even though the 15-year veteran already has almost as many interceptions (six) as he did in all of 2008 (seven).

"Kerry's not the problem," Fisher said of the NFL's 28th-rated passer.

The defense is definitely a problem, and it will have its hands full trying to stop Manning.

The Titans were second in the league in scoring defense a year ago (14.6 ppg) but are tied for 26th this year (27.0). They've struggled to pressure the quarterback and create turnovers, accumulating nine sacks and six interceptions, down from 15 and eight after four games last season.

In last Sunday's 37-17 loss to Jacksonville, Tennessee allowed David Garrard to throw for 323 yards and three touchdowns.

Garrard, a quarterback who directs a run-first offense, picking apart their defense does not bode well for the Titans in this matchup.

Manning has led Indianapolis to a league-best 13 consecutive regular-season wins since last year's loss to the Titans, including a 23-0 home victory over Tennessee in a Week 17 finale with no playoff implications.

The Pro Bowl quarterback threw for 223 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions at Tennessee last season but could have better luck against a banged-up Titans team that is tied for last in the NFL in pass defense, allowing 282.3 yards per game.

From Tennessee's secondary, nickel back Vincent Fuller is out with a broken right forearm while cornerbacks Cortland Finnegan (hamstring) and Nick Harper (ribs) are listed as day-to-day.

While the Titans defense is in shambles, Indianapolis' is looking strong.

The Colts are tied for fourth in the league in both scoring defense (15.5) and sacks (12) with defensive ends Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis already recording five sacks each.

Freeney, Mathis and the rest of the Indianapolis defense have completely shut down the run in the last two games, limiting Seattle and Arizona to a combined 73 rushing yards.

"What makes it fun is success," Freeney said. "That's what's going on right now around here. You build off that momentum and everything snowballs."

Plus, the Colts defense could welcome back linebacker Gary Brackett after he missed two games with a sprained knee, and safety Bob Sanders is closer to making his season debut after having his most extensive practice time since undergoing offseason knee surgery.

The Colts now focus on stopping Titans running back Chris Johnson , who leads the league with 434 yards rushing. He ran for 77 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries in the win over Indianapolis last season.

believe me that there's a reason i bet on the jags last week and the texans the week before, but there's no way in the world you can convince me that vegas didn't know without a shadow of a doubt that the public would flood to the books to invest in IND -1 when that line dropped.  Linesmaker's aren't in the business of "hooking people up" with good spreads and easy money.  The market correction has finally taken place when you see last year's 13-3 squad as home dogs in a division game.

it's true that the titans shouldn't be going into this game with this bad of a record.  they are due for a win.  it just wont happen this week, though.  indy understands that this is a perfect letdown situation.  they wont let it happen.  indy's defense is too strong and although peyton and co. may start slow, they'll find a way to win.  and even if it's late, they'll win this by a td+.   Indianapolis Colts  -4
