Pinnacle have real the sharp line makers. Public is 75%/25% on G-men at Insight. Doesn't this line look fishy considering that percentage?
I'm not saying Cle is a guarantee, nothing is. But I have a system called the "Scary System" and its pretty reliable. Basically, the systems says to bet the side that scares you the most.
GLTA.
LOL yeah bruce i know you use that system because you and I were on about the same side for every game this weekend. garbage bro even bodog right now is juicin' the browns more than the giants. But you're right. Guys, just an FYI if you didn't already know, Pinnacle has the sharpest odds makers of all the online books. They are the first movers. Don't mean to insult anybody's intelligence, but until someone told me that years ago, I didn't know either.

#180 Posted: 10/13/2008 6:55:26 PM always appreciate this thread, you are all very knowledgable but let's keep it light folks...send someone a personal note if you wanna talk garbage...
I'm from Ohio. Browns fan forever, but rarely bet on them.
Did anyone see the preseason game? Browns couldn't penetrate G-Men D line, and they made our O line look like amatuers. I don't see browns running out the clock. Although the passing game's timing may have been improved over the past two weeks I still think DA will be hurried and miss targets.
As far as Browns D is concerned they're beat up from a bruising schedule but up-beat from the week off. The defensive backfield's best play will probably be a touchdown saving interference.
I'm taking the over and hoping Cribbs takes one back or ends up throwing the ball.
Best of Luck! |

A moneyline like this one should be accompanied with a spread of 7. With a moneyline of +245 and a spread of 9, I have to also take the Browns on the moneyline too. Where else but in wagering can you get $1000.00 for a stake of $350.88. I am going to try it out.
Cleveland +285 moneyline
Cleveland +9

#186 Posted: 10/13/2008 7:10:02 PM I'm going to stick with the Monday night trend and play the over here. Will be watching the Browns closely in anticipation of playing them next week @ Wash plus approximately 10. The Skins dont blow teams out with their style offense, and the Browns are better than what they've showed. I'm hoping for like a 27-24 Giants win tonight. The Browns will then be primed for a big road performance...

#189 Posted: 10/13/2008 7:14:27 PM MNF home dawg getting 9 points, what more is there to look at. Clevland + the 9 even though I feel they win this game SU.
NYG are the public play here, and the line has come down a point, hmmmmm.
Browns + a touch and a safety.

#191 Posted: 10/13/2008 7:17:29 PM i basically read only 7 or 8 useful posts above, everything else is equivalent to the pimple on my balls...
had a great Sunday, 4-1 and +8.4 units... making up for my 3-4 and -0.6 units on Saturday (and my 8 unit losing last weekend too)
Giants vs. Browns under 43.5 (2 units) - conventional wisdom says I should be taking the over here, as well as most of the public. But I'll be that guy who goes against everyone, things have been good lately, especially yesterday. I went back and forth on the spread numerous times and finally settled on just taking the total instead. The Browns are coming off their bye week which means everyone A) got healthy (except Winslow), B) had extra practice and planning time, and C) got hungrier for a win against the defending champs. Donte Stallworth will return tonight but he won't fill the void that is Winslow in the passing game, and won't help Butterfinger Edwards with taking coverage away. Jamal Lewis is demanding the ball and he will get his chance tonight, the Browns will need to control this game in order to come away with the upset and it starts on the ground. The G-Men get Plaxico back tonight from his suspension, although they were uneffected by his absence last week. I can easily see him getting 120+ yards and 2 scores to get back in the good graces of the coaching staff. Brandon Jacobs is a beast and their OL should be able to dominate the weak run defense for the Browns. I envision the game ending at 24-17 Giants, or even something closer like 20-16. I know everyone is waiting for Eli to revert back to his old form of mistake football with stupid facial expressions, and I'm thinking he actually throws a costly INT early in the 2H to help the Browns put some points on the board. Turnovers will keep this game in check and will break down important drives for both teams. |

#196 Posted: 10/13/2008 7:26:39 PM Does it matter my source? My source went 8-2 yesterday and 10-1 last week. Unfortunately I jumped on only this week but hey, better late than never.
I don't want or need to talk any smack to anyone. Just posting up a good play for the picking. |

#200 Posted: 10/13/2008 7:30:18 PM I just got a feeling this is gonna be a great game to watch. No matter who ends up finishing this game at qb for cleveland, it's gonna be a close one. Really can't see how anyone is willing to lay almost dd AT Cleveland. This team hasn't had a mnf game in what like 4 years plus the weather is great, the fans are gonna be insane.
The Giants road win streak is a bad trend to look at. In that streak, out of 8 regular season games, only one was against a team with a winning record. I'm not counting the playoffs, because to me that's a whole other atmosphere.
Field position, field position, field position. Cribbs is a game breaker.
Cleveland has played a tough schedule and the Giants haven't played anyone. I'm taking the points and home field on monday night and would not be surprised to see cleveland win this one SU.
CLEVELAND +8 CLEVELAND ML
