The answer is NO.  Army cannot keep it close.  It will be a good game for about a quarter and a half, until NAVY's running game takes over a severely UNDERSIZED Army D-Line.  Average size of D-Ends is 6'2" 245.

Navy #1 running attack in US of A.  Army is 118 out of 119 in run defense.

Navy as well for me.  But I just noticed this total line at 65.5... seems awfully high to me.  Anyone else think a parlay with Navy and the Under is in order?

More thoughts on the under... vegas must be assuming Navy will score at least 50 points here -- which is possible.  But I think the total line of 65.5 is skewed too high.  Witness:
  • This game has hit 65 points once in the last 10 meetings
  • Navy scoring skewed by 3 OT games -- and this game is not going to OT.
  • 1 wacky score of 74-62 v. No TX further skews the average
  • Navy only scored 50 2x this year
  • 2 of 3 times they scored 40-49 had help with OT
  • QB with the unpronounceable name had a knee bruise last game.
You can count on Army to play hard and do their best to not be embarrassed.  Anyone have any good reasons not to play under?

I think Navy will be playing in a bowl later this month.  Anyone think they might rest players and not cover the spead? I watch a lot of NFL, but not much NCAAF.

No -- Army-Navy is bigger than any bowl game they would play.  Players come there with this game in mind more than any other.  But if they get way ahead I expect they might.

Didn't even notice this game on the board until I see the thread.  Might have to jump on the Navy boat with you guys, this one seems too easy.

I'm on it.....I can't believe that this game will be that close.  Army is just flat out horrible.  Navy on the other hand is a very solid little team.  But like you were saying my brutha, Navy doesn't hit that 50 mark too often.......I don't think Army can score more that 20 today......so I will play that parlay with you my man.
