Once Tennessee gets up 14 points the coach will treat this like an NFL preseason game, the first string will sit. The question is will the second, third, and fourth string still be able to run up the score.
No play for me but sometimes these games are worth following for a second half play. First week of the season is damned hard to cap. However watching the games can at times allow for profitable half time bets.

Lordzud - in all due respect, no way...30 maybe...App St. rep precedes them (ie Michigan)...Jones may not be on the hot seat, but it is warm...plus, with Hurd and Dobbs as longshot Heisman candidates, this will be a stat game for at least 3 quarters. I think Tenn will win by 28+. I agree that week 1 is hard to cap. I am on Tenn -21.

The reason the line has dropped is bcuz App St. is a very good team. Both teams return a huge number of starters. If I absolutely had to play here and I don't...I would prob land on App State. I am considering the under.

Tennessee is significantly overrated, and there's a concern about the lookahead.
How are they over-rated? Is that versus last year's team? They have 9 days to prepare for Va Tech, and this week 1...I can see a lookahead after week 1 against your arch rival, or another ranked team...Va Tech is neither of those...This particular line may be slightly inflated (from say -17). That would be a more logical explanation for me. I don't think the Vols will take the neers lightly, though I have some concerns about the Tenn OC Debord and the vanilla non-innovative aspects of the Tenn Offense...Again, I don't think Tenn is over-rated.

Overrated and/or lookahead? How would you explain the result? I feel good about both my assessments.
