With you on the under.. Im a little stronger on that one, not sure which auburn team sparks that kind of total, not even the one that played ark, at least in regulation. I think Malzahn & Co have a game plan for Memphis' O. low total.

Don't think the "fill-in" defensive coordinator for Auburn will be able to slow down this Memphis passing attack and what could be Lynch's final collegiate game.
Memphis is #12 in overall offense this year while Auburn is #91 in overall defense.

This is another example where I like the strength of scedule. I just think Aub plays in a higher class and can handle Memphis. I'm not strong on this.Just a feeling.

I like Memphis in this game. I think they are the better team with a better QB. They only had 2 wins in their division. 3 of the games they won were against below 500 teams and one was a lower division, but that team did have a good record. Their only impressive win was against Texas AM.
Memphis did beat Miss, which Auburn lost. Also decent wins against Cinn, South Fl, and a 1 point loss to a great Houston team. Their only 3 losses came to Houston, Navy, and Temple. All top 25 teams which combined only had 3 losses for all 3 of them. So far Navy kicked butt in their bowl game, Temple got kicked and Houston not up yet.
According to Sargin rating they are very close. Memphis is ranked 45th, Auburn 36th. Schedule strenght farily close went to Auburn 8th vs 71st.
The more I look into it the more I like Memphis.
And last Nomptoncats. Nothing is a lock usless a ML that is in college basketball at around the -20,000 range that has a line around -25 with them being at home.

According the the stats up above. Their defenses are pretty close, but the offense is like comparing a offense of a NFL to a high school team with Memphis worlds better.

Memphis passing almost doubles Auburn in yards. Passing attempts are much higher for Memphis and they still had less interceptions. Also a much better completion record. This Memphis offense on paper looks like it should roll over Auburn.

Interesting news, Auburn has a new Def cordinator because the last one quit and went to S Carolina. I would think this defense should have enough problems with Memphis' offense.

memphis sounds like a good team to pick. but wait, the hhead coach is gone. just like bowling green last week. lost badly in 2nd half. hard to trust a team without a head coach. auburn plays in a better division anyways. they dont lose to sorry team. plus the team is playing more together now. lets wait until game times then pick auburn. points will go down alot. i like auburn plus over. memphis cant stop anyone.

Thinking the same way greedygambler. a big win here is good for the Auburn Seniors and good for recruiting. Auburn has the higher pay grade players not doubt. You saw LSU hardly try half the game and just steam roll TT. The TT QB was running for his life all game. Me thinks Paxton Lynch is going to have some big speedy broham's keeping him on the run all game.
