I was surprised Houston played so bad last week, but when you look at these two teams I would think Arizona should have been a double digit favorite.  I see this game being a blowout - Arizona 38 UTSA 14

UTSA is for real. UTSA is a senior loaded team that is returning 20 of 22 starters to a team that won it's last 5 games. Seeing how poorly Marshall played the first week and how well this team played I expect them to be favorites to win the USA conference. This game is a no play to me, I think it is capped about right. But that wont stop the action happy public from pounding on a PAC 12 team that is the only college football betting option on a Thursday night. The Arizona QB looked great against UNLV but the UTSA defense looked great against Houston picking off 4 passes. Road teams on Thursday nights are a bad bet ATS, just sayin. Smells like a trap game. Heavy action on one side and the books come out on top.

UTSA didn't play any tough games except Zona and lost 38 to 13.

Good luck

UTSA has no offense.. Helped by 6 Houston turnovers last week.. Think that happens twice?? Already played Arizona at -7.. Will probably play them half as well.. Looking at the over too.. Good luck guys

With everyone sooooooo heavy on AZ. Ill dab a little on UTSA ML and spread.

Play ONUTSA using the money line in All games as an underdog of +155 to +300 vs. the money line
The record is 5 Wins and 0 Losses for the last three seasons

I'm actually leaning Arizona. But no play to start the game. Arizona has better talent. These type of games I keep an eye on and often bet the more talented team second half if it is close at half time. Over and over I've noticed that games with talent mismatches, like this one, the better team wears down their opponent first half but this doesn't show up on the scoreboard till second half. Oahuboy brings up a very good point. UTSA wasn't that good versus Houston, rather Houston sukked coughing up 6 turnovers. When Oahuboy talks, I listen.

This line is way off. Yes, UTSA is a good mid major team but the take aways were the key last week. Do you really think Arizona will be asleep at the wheel? They know they are on National TV and they know UTSA will take advantage if they don't bring their A game. They will come out like gangbusters. Only hope a UTSA bettor has is if Arizonas young QB plays bad. But guess what? It was a heated competition out there for that job so if that happens Rich Rod has other viable options who are hungry to prove themselves. Computer generated power rating too high for UTSA based off of a turnover victory against Houston. Too much speed, too much offensive wizardry from Rich Rod, Cats will not underestimate this team or come out flat. Arizona 44-UTSA 24.

I was impressed with UTSA's win last week but the six turnovers distorts the way the score looks.  Zona and Rich Rod are more a rush based offense and doesn't fling it all over the ball park like Houston did.  Crowd will be pumped up for UTSA but I am going with better athletes.

Arizona -7 small play    one unit.        GL to all.

UTSA QB is still green and will have to preform this week aslong as AZ doesnt put the ball up for grabs.  Il lay the 7 and take the Zona team who is 2-1 away fav and 4-0 non conf ATS last year.

I think this will be closer than people think. I will agree that UH's O'Korn is terrible and helped out UTSA a bit last week, but it was still a road game for UTSA that they completely dominated against a "better" team. Meanwhile Arizona beat up on a nobody at home and likely see UTSA as another nobody team. UTSA will be up for this one, the fans will be there in abundance, and it is on the dreaded Thursday night for the road team. I think Arizona will go into halftime wondering what they got themselves into.

Fun fact their QB with that streak is gone.
Everyone mentions how UTSA has starters coming back but the main one that is not back is their QB. QB is what wins or loses for you in college. This kid struggled against HOUSTON's defense... Houston doesn't play defense.

Arizona - 31                                      UTSA - 17

Wildcats -7                                 under 56

Rich Rod can't be trusted so you have to go small on this one. He tends to screw up games that he should easily win. 5-6-1 ats last year

Reluctantly Arizona - Under

Arizona -7.  Even though UTSA has a good defense I am not sure they have the offense to stay with Arizona.

I'm worried about a couple things:  Arizona going on the road, on a Thursday night and the Roadrunners being all jacked up for their home opener after a solid road win over Houston last week.  Coker is a solid coach and got a raw deal in Miami.

But UT-SA has very little self-generated offense.  Will their defense keep AZ at bay long enough to get a back-door or an outright upset?
