There're not giving Duke no love in this one but I'm going to take that +11.5

I am leaning Duke with the points here.  No question A&M will likely win the game if they show up to play but A&M is the worst defense in the SEC, and one of the worst in CFB.  Duke can move the ball and put up a lot of points against this defense, enough to keep it under 10?  Not sure, but that is where I am because I think Duke will want this game more than the Aggies.

Wait, isn't A&M horrible primarily against the run? Does duke really run the ball??? I'm leaning... A&M big here....

that horrible A&M D against the run, was horrible against the SEC West Rushing Attacks (so that metric is relative)...sure they will never be great, but they have a lot of 4 star athletes on that D with 4 weeks to prepare with a former Heisman QB, an OL, and a WR who will be 1st round picks on Offense.    The D with a month to prepare will be better than they were during the season.     This will be Manziel's last game as an aggie.   He and his teammates will make it count.

Texas A&M 42

Duke 17

Texas A&M -12

I'm taking the under here, 75 is a lot of pts. to score. Now I'm a guy who loves to play the over in college football games, especially in games where I think there may be a chance of overtime. But to date the totals are 3-15-1 in all bowl games this year. Now I understand that the score of one game has nothing to do with the next. The same as if heads comes up 9 tmes in a row the odds are still 50/50 it's going to be heads the 10th  time.Watch todays games if they all come in under, I may take the under in every game the rest of the way Good Luck to every one and have a Happy Healthy & Prosperous New Year, Saltpetey

I'm worried that Duke cares more and will cover the spread. But I think Texas A&M -12 is the play. There is a huge disparity in talent between these two conferences and IF Texas A&M plays as hard as Duke they should score their normal 40 plus points and keep Duke in the 20's. I'm not too big in betting unders but it looks pretty good here as the bowls have been trending unders and as other commentators have said earlier, defending against Duke cannot be compared to defending against the SEC teams A&M has played. Too many bettors look at the records of these two teams and don't know just how much bigger and faster SEC players are than the players on the teams Duke went up against.

Johnny will shine in his last game as an Aggie. He wants to look great for NFL scouts as well. I am with the Aggies at -12.5. The dome is gonna be full of Aggie fans, I live near the city and it looks like the Texas A&M faithful are coming over here in droves. Not as many blue and white flags for Duke flying around.

Thank you my friend... I am not sure if there are many actual handicappers on this site anymore.. it is either bet Texas A&M or nothing ... I watch SEC all year here in TN ,  I dont care how bad their defense is , any SEC defense is better than Duke....Lay the chalk...

Just dropped a dime on Duke on the money line. Cutcliff will pull this game. He was a former Vol offensive coordinator, when the vols won a national championship 1998. This guy is very familiar with the SEC and is building that Duke team to compete. Huge upset today I think. Also, the mindset of the 2 teams are opposite, duke is happy to make it to a bowl and want a win. This was a disappointing year for A&M who were think national championship at the beginning of the year and now reduced to playing this game.

LSU fan says same, alot of points. If Aggies defense is as bad as its stats say, might be a smooth ride for the over...

Knox,
I am also in TN. and watch the SEC. Cutcliff is an SEC coach that built that Duke team. Be careful if you are taking A&M. Duke is the real deal. Now I will take Auburn in the National Championship game but Duke can play. They are built by an sec coach.

TXAM MLB and leading tackler out (Claiborne)...    makes it tough for a team that cant tackle anyway.

Duke +14

say goodbye to your dime, bro...a&m is equally motivated with much better talent...

I am on the Aggies, of course, but I wish you success in your other games...
