Hard to beat a team twice in one season, but I'll take Stanford plus the points will also have them on a 4 team teaser....

Not sure where the text in above post went.  Stanford dominated the first game by winning the time of possession battle by over 11 minutes.  They limited ASU to 50 yards rushing while using their power running game to keep Kelly off the field.  They limited the Sun Devils to 50 yards rushing forcing Kelly to throw it 55 times.  ASU needs to make some significant adjustments for this game and that usually happens in rematches because coaches can use film to show what went wrong and who needs help.   May be too much to ask but Stanford has had some off nights this year so I think this game will be a lot closer than the one in Palo Alto.

Biggest change is home field edge to ASU, Sun Devil Stadium should be rocking for a playoff game and Stanford hasn't been as sharp on the road.  I think the reversal of locations is worth 7-10 points so the game isn't the walk-over many expect.  Home dog is always attractive.  Hope the line moves up as I smell a decent chance for an upset in this game.  Not totally sold on that yet but will watch and get other opinions.

Defense and a solid running game travel well.  Wrong team favored..

Cannot argue that forkball, and that is usually the way I would analyze a game.  Haven't decided whether to play my gut instinct or not because of exactly that.  Just a couple of weal performances by Stanford worries me on this one.

Stanford is the "Alabama of the West Coast" -a bulldozer type team..solid defense and running game with a QB that makes few mistakes.

Stanford has had a nice run, but Arizona St., USC, and UCLA are turning-up the heat in the PAC-12, and as such Stanford is doomed. Oregon better learn real fast how to play defense or they are doomed as well!!

The DeViLs will put-up 34 and march on to the Rose Bowl. No doubt the DeViLs "blast" the so-called "really super duper smart kids".

Mr. Big 10 et al

so grise is out for ASU... he has run for almost 1000 yards this season...with Stan stout D, and I will assume ASU's focus on the pass considering this development, does this impact your perspective of this game...

Ton of points for a team that got beat soundly this year, once already.  Ya, I hear you on the team development thing but Stanford has covered as a rode dog 5 straight times and they have the better run game.  I'll buy the hook to 3.5.

I took Stanford  +9 1/2 along with Texas  +21 1/2 on a two game teaser.  I really wouldn't be surprised if ASU wins this game straight up but I cannot see them handling a physical Stanford team enough to pull away.  If I am wrong about the upset, I win anyway.  Just seems a simpler way to play it.  Look forward to watching, GL to all.

Just a heads up to those people looking at the score of the first game, this ASU team is alot different than that one was, particularly on the defensive line.

Yeah, teasers are always the "simpler way to play it". They are the hallmark of every successful gambler

To each his own pal, this is an opinion site.  I have been killing it with teasers, if you have had a bad experience, that seems to be your issue.  I have a smaller play on Stanford -3. but if you don't like my recommendations  just pass over them without the personal remarks.  I lowered my consideration of your opinions based on your close-minded remarks.  Please note, your post offered nothing to the game recommendations.  I have several friends who now follow my picks, especially on teasers, more than their paid "expert picks".

I judge how to gamble on the amount of winnings, or losses, and my record is damned good.  Had 3 losing weeks this year, only last week was any significant losses, and it is a blend of straight bets and teasers.  Some games just lend themselves to teasers, especially this time of year when the lines get more dialed in.
