Don't trust me, I'm a homer better. NIU -2.5. Ride that Lynch train till it's gone (sob) Sure the game is in in Toledo and Toledo is unbeaten at home this year but this is a team on a mission to go undefeated. Lynch is going to do what Lynch does against MAC competition and that is win. Come the bowls I won't bet on NIU cuz they will step in class but against MAC teams.....it's been a winner and

how can u go against Lynch right now? Fluellen status still questionable. Line may move with knowledge of him playing or not. If he's out I can see this going to NIU-3. My book has NIU-1.5 right now

I've learned a lesson. Never place a bet on a road favorite early. Just wait to place bet. This game for Northern isn't a gimme, Toledo hasn't lost at home all year and the NIU defense gives up a lot of yards and points. Still, I like my chances, Lynch will easily be the best player on the field versus Toledo and that guy is clutch. I wonder if the line will bounce back up to 3 by game time. The public pounds the weekday games and they usually like the higher ranked team. Not that I am any good at predicting line moves, as shown by when I placed this bet.

Are you kidding me? N ILL only -2? Is Lynch taking the day off? Buffalo played the worst game vs Toledo in the first half then ripped off 41 2nd half points & 27 in the 4th alone..No way this Toledo team is as good as they looked last week...Buffalo played garbage..straight up...Licata threw for 400+ yards in the loss...There's no way Toledo's D will stop Lynch here in my opinion...

N ILL 56

TOLEDO 21

10 bucks will make you 37 if it hits, very tempting. I'll throw some money at that too. Just a side bet for the small.

Looking back at last year, I lost on the over because the two teams played very conservative to start.  And, to be honest, NIU played it way too conservative in the 1H, and then exploded in the 2H to easily cover the 2H line and over.  I saw the same thing last week against Ball.  NIU did what they usually do, stick to short passes and running for much of the first half before trying to throw the ball down field.  I've never quite understood this as both Chandler Harnish and Jordan Lynch have the ability to execute down the field.
This Wednesday, Toledo will dictate the pace of the game.  If they come out throwing the ball they have a great shot at winning. Jordan Lynch is going to be solid, no doubt.  He is a winner like Tebow and will make big plays.  In my opinion, the game comes down to Terrence Owens and the gameplan for Toledo.  If they come out with the intent of passing, and do so successfully they have a legitimate shot at winning this game.  If they play they play the ball control game and are conservative, then NIU gets up early and doesn't look back.

I gotta back NIU & Lynch!  Coach wants him to put up crazy numbers to get some love for the Hiesman , I'm sure he's stoked to do the same.  but putting aside all craziness, yes Toledo has lost to some good teams....but not so fast.. this NIU team just has a look.  I think they take care of business.  I'm thinking it will be a close game and then they will pull it away just like last week.

Toledo is a decent team.  They're at home, lost to Mizzou, & Fla (& not badly), but what I like is that game they lost to Ball St...

Lynch Mob & Co.!

Anyone noticed that regardless of what this site says, Fluellen has been upgraded to probable. Maybe why the line went to 3 and right back down to 2. I too said at first HOLY CRAP easy bet on NIU.
But it's another one of those trap games me thinks. NIU used up a lot of gas last week and then have to play a VERY tough road game, and history proves it, against a very good team who might have their best player back. Too many if's and maybe's to even bet this game right now. Or the O/u. It's a coin flip if Fluellen plays. Coach is saying game time decision. I f'n HATE game time decisions

too close to cap for me...I have been burned backing niu against Idaho and Akron...other than lynch, two evenly matched mac teams...who either beat AQ conference teams or played competitively.   the non lynch team is playing at home on national tv.  that Toledo team beat a very good buffalo team last week...

no play for me...but, gl to all...

Taking NIU Large. Would like to see a decent over, but I haven't seen a line on it yet. NIU gives up yards, but they take more than they give.

Even though I like NIU, with clear skies but cold weather I gotta roll with the over instead. If Fluellen is healthy enough to play which is a very strong chance then I really like the over. If this score is in the mid 30s early 40s by half this game may strike 90-100 total points. Unlike ball st, Toledo is a wide open true spread offense like how Florida was when Urban was there so it's really tough to slow them down but NIU is not ranked for nothing. They made great half time adjustments last week after getting pounded at the line of scrimmage by ball st run game in the first half. ALL I CAN SAY IS DONT BLINK! I felt Buffalo was the best defensive team in the MACTION but it was 21-0 in the 1st. Playing on the road is never easy for college kids especially in a prime time game when the nation is watching. Vegas knows ppl is salivating at a -2.5 NIU line just like ppl were when Oregon was -10 against Stanford. BUT HEY THATS WHY THEY PLAY THE GAME AND THATS WHY WE WATCH!!! Good Luck to All!!

Taking Toledo! Even though NIU losses this game. They bounce back n get help to win the MAC west. Toledo +2.5 for me. Good luck everyone!

If you like Toledo…wait to place your bet. I would be surprised if the public wouldn't be pushing this line to or past the crucial 3 number by kickoff. It is a weekday game and there aren't many options to bet so the day of the game the public typically bets on the favorite. If you like NIU take the bet at the 2.5 number.
