LSU had a great defense and NFL is very grateful for them, now they don't. If Florida can hold the LSU offense to 17 points Bama will do better. If Georgia can score 40 plus points on LSU so will Bama. Line started at 11 and I expect the public and the sharps to pile on Bama so grab it before it goes higher. Alabama-11.5 for the LAHHHGE. I've watched LSU and they aren't the LSU of past years. Forget about recent meetings, Bama is going to pull away second half. Saban coached teams just get better as the year goes on and do I have to tell anybody how dominant Alabama has been the last three years? No such thing as a loc, can't spell that word correctly, summons evil spirits, but there are high percentage plays and this is one of those.

in the biggest college football play of my life, I got ALABAMA -10 -130, they are simply better and not just by a little, my only concern is les miles, as he is a great IN GAME coach and I am sure he will have some tricks up his sleave, but even so it will not be enough, I do not feel that this one will be that close, very similar to miami vs florida state last week, miami was overrated and so is LSU, CRIMSON TIDE-10 in the biggest football play of my life.

What Tiger team will show at Bryant-Denny ?  What I'm saying is will LSU get beat by 2 td's or more ?  Its that simple.  No defense for the Tigers as stated above, against one of the best in the NCAA!  Questionable offensive play of late for the Tigers = doom against this Bama D!!!!

Never forget Les Miles clock management skills as well!  Not that he will need them in this game .......

Put me down for Bama -11

Doc and Zud aahhh  fine cappers. I think ALA wins this game (although I hope not)  Mind set of these coachs I'm guessing Saban plays this game not to lose, Miles will be pulling out the stops why wouldnt he plus they have excellent skills players like they havnt had in recent memory.  IMHO ALA def young down a bit and NOT battletested.

I took LSU+11 and teased them with ORE for the LARGE

THIS IS A GIFT, THE ONE TEAM IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL BESIDES TXAM  NOT AFRAID TO GO IN DENNY IS GETTING OVER 10?  METTENBERG HAS 2 NFL WR TO THROW THE BALL AND BAMA LOSING THEIR STAR SAFETY WILL DEFINTELY HURT.  LSU ..PLUS A SPRINKLE ON ML

Tigers defense is not as bad as people are making it out to be. Only allowing just north of 3 TDs a game. If they don't garbage the bed in Oxford this line is closer to a TD. Gl with your plays.

RedStick,

You and Lafayette Kid know LSU football better than anybody in the Covers Community so I would never question your insight, but I think you are going to be surprised at your Tigers this weekend.  I completely agree this year’s edition of the Tigers on the defensive side of the ball have not lived up to LSU tradition and Georgia made that defensive unit look flat terrible.  However, “them” boys from Tuscaloosa don’t have the weapons at the tight end/wide out positions like Georgia and A.J. McCarron doesn’t have Aaron Murrays skill set which is why his name is left out of the Heisman conversation (Murray throws his receivers open – McCarron is nothing more than a system QB i.e. deliver the ball at a designated spot on time), so I don’t think the Tide will be able to go up and down the field in this matchup like “them” Dawgs from Athens.

Now I’m still licking my wounds from that Oregon/Stanford debacle (I’m still wondering how the Wise Men in Vegas were able to keep that Marcus Mariota injury hush hush until game time – they really put the public together on that deal) so I’m NOT playing the side; but coming off a cupcake game AND a week off to heal and prepare for Saban, I think the “Hat” will have “them” Bayou Bengals lathered up defensively and keep this game close…  I see lots and lots of field goals for both teams so I think the Total is set 9 points to high.

With that said, put me down for Under the Total for three (3) C-Notes please.  Thanks!

Way way under, like negative numbers. "Holtnt" hits it on the head like 15-6 or 9, the under and LSU  for big money. But I would love to see 'Bama lose and try to back their way in this year. You're not getting past Missouri if they lose, and no SEC in the title game. ACC vs big 10

ESPN PREVIEW: Alabama has lost three games under Nick Saban when coming off a regular season bye week. All three have come against LSU.

In order for LSU to have any chance of winning the final score will need to be a low one. Les Miles had better try and control clock. Miles worries me because he has made bonehead use of clock management in the past. Please have a clue Les! Clueless....get it?
