Kansas State is 50th in rushing and they ran for 327 yds against the Baylor "defense".  Oklahoma is 17th in rushing.  Sooners will hold on to the ball and run on every down to keep it away from Baylor's great offense and pound the s-hit out of Baylor's terrible defense.  Baylor faces a huge jump in competition here.  Couple of stops and Oklahoma has a chance at a straight up win.

You could make the argument that Baylor hasn't played anyone. But look at OU's schedule and tell me who they have played? The only team I respect is Texas Tech and MAYBE Notre Dame. Texas isn't the Texas of old. Tech has looked inconsistent and ND is just ND. So that argument is valid on both sides. Neither team has seen what the other will put on the field tomorrow. With that being said, give me Baylor at home. That offense will run circles around the Sooners

Oh wow we got some great games going on Thursday! I like Baylor to win by at least 17 points here. My lean is on Baylor -14.5, but well be watching the line movements.

Why is everyone on Baylor's nuts?? The LEAST garbage*iest team they've played is an average Kansas St. team that held them to half of their average score and ran the ball for over 300 yards against them. Oklahoma will do much of the same and play better defense, they will be prepared. This game will be close, I might even put a c-note on the sooners outright.

Hard to win a gun fight using bow and arrows…  The Belldozer’s ability to run the football cannot be questioned…  he is probably the most physical (statue and play) signal caller on the collegiate level, however in their game against Texas he was exposed as a fraud when it comes to passing the rock…  so you must ask yourself what happens if Baylor goes up two touchdowns (very good possibility that will happen in the comfort of their home stadium) and forces BIG Game Stoops (Sponge Bob as DrDogs calls him) and the Belldozer to abandon the run game and pass the football to catch up…  Pure disaster in my humble opinion Ladies and Gentlemen.

 

Floyd Casey Stadium will be absolutely electric for this national televised game (everybody and their mother in that little raggedy town will be at the game so it will be a good time to rob a bank if anybody is interested), so I will gladly lay the chalk here…  With that said, put me down for Baylor minus the chalk for a Nickel please.  Thanks!

All you cappers, you can analyze the schedule strength or anything you want but it all comes down to who the book wants you to bet.
In this case, it's OU (favorite team to most).
Let me give  ya'll an example of last week's game between Miami vs FSU.
Both were undefeated and ranked up there, but FSU spotted  Miami more than 3 TDs and ya'll know the result, right?

Baylor has the 11th ranked defense in the country. Danny Sheridan has them with the 98th ranked sos.

OU, tenth ranked defense with 48 ranked sos.

Baylor #1 offense and OU 52nd.

Baylor outscores opponents by 48 per. OU outscores by 12.3

One other thing to think about is this. Being a Nebraska fan, I have seen how teams that have a chance to give a beat down just love to do so to take out the years of frustration from us whipping them. And I have no problem with them running up the score on us if they have the chance. Baylor will not let up if they have the chance because no one will begrudge them for running up the score and they want to show the country that they belong among the elite and in the national title talk. It's not like Oregon and Kansas State last year when they were trying to hold on to what they had at the end. Baylor needs to make a statement to get into the mix. Barring some crazy turnover/special team b.s. I think Baylor does it.

Hate when the "Experts" are overwhelmingly on same side as me, public also leaning Baylor, but the line now hitting 15 tells me Vegas wants some play on Okla.  looks like a Baylor blowout to me. JMHO.

Hottest better this side of the Sahara desert. I know you guys have been waiting for my pick and frankly i don't blame you. All the hype on the undefeated bears playing at home on a Thursday night and the rout will be on... WRONG.

Bob Stoops will have the boys boys ready to slaughter some bears? WRONG. but he will run a very passive playcalling as usual and the defense will make enough stops to lose by less than 15.

Yeah i am tempted to even take OU ML , Im sure its a competitive game between 2 top ranked teams.

good post here.  Taking the points for a unit more than the ML so that I win some cash even if Sooners don't win SU.  Just my two cents worth and plays already in, ML was +450 and already going lower.

Sooners + 15.5
Sooners +450 ML for a bit less than the one above pays.

Point of order Sir…  According to my source, the public is slightly on Oklahoma (51%), so if you theory is correct (I don’t subscribe to methodology because IMHO Vegas wants all the money on the wrong side every time), the Wise Men in Vegas should leave the line right where it’s at or lower the line to attract more Baylor dollars correct?  Please advise…
