A week ago I thought a Buckeye blowout. Now I'm not so sure.

Ohio St - 27                                Penn St - 13

Nittany Lions +15

Host in this series is 1-5 ats last 6. The double digits looks pretty good here.

Penn St

What i hate the most is Pennstate coming off a bye week.  Teams coming off a bye week pretty much have sucked this year.  It's like icing a team.  Ive been burned too many times using that angle.

Let's hope it's this one Dogs   Nobody wants to see Urban Meyer get pounded by an SEC team in the National Championship game.

Boy, that is the truth Colonel, too many quality teams that would be exciting to watch get it on.  OSU is weakest team in the Top 10.  But they will be fired up to get the fans singing their praises.  This line looks about right for OSU at home.  Penn State just isn't tough enough, or deep enough to keep this close on the road.  They barely survived Michigan at home 2 weeks ago.  Would love to see the upset but don't think it is in the cards.  Maybe State Pen and 25 on a teaser is my best bet, that way I can still pull for the upset.

Ohio St. needs style points to maintain their BCS ranking. Missouri, Stanford and Baylor are breathing down their necks. A poor performance here could drop them to 5th or 6th in the polls. They don't have the luxury of a marginal victory.

Tough call here.  Is an inspired, motivated Penn State team gonna show up or the flat, low on talent team gonna show up?  They may have already used all their luck up for one season though.

OSU (-16.5) has to prove to pollsters that they belong...BIG 10 really not that strong this year...OSU may be the only legit team. Urban Meyer knows he needs to put some teams away for votes... His time is now or never ( line -15.5 to -16.5 is fairly large, considering PSU beat OSU last time in Columbus & PSU coming off big win vs Michigan ) !!!
I feel Meyer will come out  Gunning today & Bucks will play for their lives in the polls!

OSU (-16.5)   45 - 17

As a PSU alumnus and rabid fan, I would suggest to everyone, pass on this game. This game could go any way. I don't trust either team to cover the spread. If forced to pick though, i guess PSU (16.5 is a lot of points) as Ohio State seems to play down to the competition week after week (they've actually been this way for the last few years), and moreso as the season goes on and pressure to remain undefeated and continuing relentless bashing by the press that they have not played anyone and the Big Ten sucks. I think both of those are largely true. We'd all be better off throwing it on a hand of blackjack. Save yourselves the headaches and heartache. This is a coin flip.

After looking a little closer at this one, the over (56) looks good. This is one of the worst PSU D's in a long time and Ohio State's is not much better...especially in pass D. The weatherman is calling for a cool, but clear night. No rain. That's a big help for scoring. Dry. This should be a shoot out. Penn State's top 2 recievers and TE are super skilled. And if Hackenberg can handle the noise and mental and physical pressure, the Over should be a slam dunk. That's the glaring question though. How will Hack perform in what is really the first spotlight game of his career. The offenses are obviously the strength here. Gotta go with the Over.

Agree, this line is too close to feel comfortable with, especially with the bye week for PSU.  I took Penn State and 26 1/2 as part of a 3-team teaser play.  Would love to see them win SU but too much to ask for on the road.
