Bulls playing some great ball right now...don't see this one being close at all...Bulls with a win 1 step closer to bowl elg....

Oliver & Licata should be able to beat up a crappy  U Mass team

BUFFALO 42

UMASS 10

Of course.  Typical Vue.  No sense behind the pick, just pick for attention.

Buffalo wins by 30+ unless there is some major piece of information that we are missing here.

Honestly, man, lightened up there. I don't need to crave for attention. I just don't like playing the chalk. I wish I had time to give you my reasons why I made this "terrible" pick, but I am out of town. I know people consider my plays outrageous, but trust me- they were saying that several times this season when I tabbed Temple & Florida Atlantic. Anyway, I believe Massachusetts can cover in this situation. GLTA

Granted, UMass's offense sucks bigtime. But last week ,they finally earned their first D-1 victory. I do remember, the database I am tied into giving the likely score as:

            Buffalo                  27

            UMass                  14

There was more, but currently I don'thave access to my computer.Simple math will tell you when you add 20.5 to the 14, I could possibly cover by around a touchdown.

vue - I just think Buffalo is a legit top 65 team this year going against a bottom 5 team.  Buffalo is playing at home.   I think after the humiliating loss to Baylor, and their desire to impress (even with a 6-6 or 7-5 record would not be guaranteed a bowl), they want to impress against bad teams.    Mack and Oliver are legit NFL prospects.   I think they will have 20 covered by the half.  I do know Vandy had a tough time with them at Mass, but Vandy's not a great team this year,.

the only thing that concerns me is all the love for buffalo, and the spread is not climbing...much like Baylor -17 v Kansas St last week.   That number was stuck on -17 and for good reason.

someone help me with Buffalo -20...I don't want to over think this...

60 % chance of rain.  Should be at game time, large storm over Indiana and Michigan headed for western NY.  Honestly, getting 20 pts Mass might not be a bad play here.  Buffalo has a legit team, and I support them as they have made me some money in recent weeks, however Mass is not the same pushover.  What I mean by that is they are not getting their doors blown off, they are losing, but not by 50 like in recent years.  With the weather I can see a Buffalo win 20-6.

staplehead - Buffalo is at home...their only losses were two currently undefeated teams...Buffalo is a top 70 and UMASS is a  bottom 7, and though they won last week and have covered the last four, I don't see them sticking with a highly motivated Buffalo team on the road...and through see those showers, I see only a 30% chance of rain for Buffalo this afternoon during game time...

Well Longhorn that is the beauty of being a degenerate. We all have our opinions. Considering I live in Buffalo I can almost guarantee its pouring here by the half. Forget the forecast. Check the radar.  If im wrong, well I really dont care. Just wanna win some money.

Rankings mean little to me. But I appreciate your insight. GL to you today with all of your bets.

And Vue, I am new to posting but have used this website and read it's threads for years. You keep doing what you are doing. And I remember you picking Temple and FAU. It is one thing to be a know it all on a thread but in reality, if any of us were incredible handicappers, we wouldnt be on covers posting threads. We would be in Vegas enjoying some amazing company. Gl Vue and keep on keeping on. Screw any haters. We should all be a team instead of being armchair experts.

staple - that's fine...let's agree to disagree

I know bad weather speeds up a game, but with oliver churning against a UMASS D that can't stop the run, but is strong against the pass, and who's Mass O can't score either way, that Buffalo would be able to pull out a workman's 24 to 28 point win?
