Same scenario as the MD vs Florida State game.  Most people thought  MD was going to give FSU a game and that MD was the first "real" opponent for FSU.  Look at the end result.  Louisville will beat Rutgers by at least 3 tds.

Over, over ,over! This team is the complete opposite of when Schiano was coach. This year they can score a lot of points and give up a lot of points.

Nice point, but I would debate this about the FSU v. MD game. MD has NEVER beaten FSU in Tallahassee. Over the last three years MD has lost to FSU by an average of 22 points. And the last two years MD has been in disarray losing games a plenty.

This year Rutgers team is putting up points. Louisville will have a scare this year. Whether its this week or next I'm willing to gamble that this Rutgers team keeps it closer than people think and may even surprise the Ville.

How many times have we seen this undefeated favored team shocked by a slightly lesser opponent on a Thursday night prime time game. Rutgers was one win away (vs. Pitt or Louisville) to be the Big East team in last year's Sugar Bowl.

You can't compare LOUIS to FSU or BRIDGEWATER to WINSTON
one stops when he has the lead the other keeps on killing it. Same for the organization. LOUIS can't be trusted by a bettor.

RUTGERS should find the legs to get through a division game like this.
I think they will, their from jersey lol.
It'll be close or a blowout, it'll be a blowout first half and close second half. We'll find out tomorrow. I still take the 19, LOUIS is strong home buy agains WHO?

Wow -19

Rutgers will easily cover -19. L'ville is not Alabama and Rutgers is not full of scrubs. Rutgers will never be out the game .

I get your point, but not nearly as close, as Winston is Heisman nominee, watch......

From the consensus picks, a lot of you like Rutgers.  In order for Rutgers to stay in the game, they will have to score points.  Teddy Bridgewater has the Heisman spotlight alone.. Look for a 42-24 tilt toward Louisville.

The over is the safest play.

" Bridewater is the real deal!"
I heard that last year too

I don't think the heisman race really matter if it was there Every year. He has the same chance just as if he did every year. its still the same; just a race to the top. It's only half way of the season and I don't think coach will let him go wild for the spotlight. Scouts are gonna be there though. Who knows?
Both teams has injuries keys.... Parker for Louisville and Paul for the rutgers. Most of the rutgers defense is out and Louisville has yet to prove themselves versus yet another better offense.
I'd take the close game for the revengeful rutgers

I see a lot of people liking the O in this game but I tend to swing the other way. The teams have combined for 4 O in 10 games and it seems to me once U of L is up the dogs are called off. Going to be a chilly night on short rest in the national spotlight, I think RU tries to get to their average of 179 rushing ypg and keep the ball out of Teddy's hands, the numbers show U of L as a good rush defense but against whom? I think U of L pulls it out but in a low scorer I got U of L 21 RU 10

Taking a change from my previous position although I still think Louisville will try to run it up to gain credibility and impress voters in one of their few national TV appearances that will be seen outside their county.  But no straight up bet for me on this one, I think this is a safer way to play this game:

3-team teaser

Rutgers      +29         Over 45' in Rut/L'ville game     Zona    +16'

Lou took its foot off the pedal last week against Temple for a reason.  Look for them to come out strong and score often.  Take the over in Lou points for a German Snitz LOCK!!

Dammit boy too many uses of the "L" word and I dont mean Louisville... but Rutgers cant stop the pass. Louisville throws mad bombs. Louisville has only played one team, Ohio, thats going to a bowl so far and that was a big line too. Rutgers will get lit up. The trap here is the big line. Lou and over for the larggge!!!!

Here's my thoughts/question....We all know how prolific Lou passing offense is. Also, we all know how terrible Rutgers pass D is. Rutgers strength is its run game, is it not? With a pass d so bad Lou will easily put up points and score. You don't come back in games by running the ball. Rutgers is going to have to score through the air in this one to have a shot...So, CAN THEY THROW THE ROCK?? thoughts??

I dont like the -17 after watching them not even cover Temple last week. But I will take them 1st half. Rutgers defense is horrible but their offense can put up points just dont know how much against a really good Lou defense.
