Utah state has several rushing options and can pass the rock. Also not a bad defense either. Played slightly tougher schedule. BYU is one dimensional on offense also not a bad defense. Line is right on. Well see total should be around 51 or 52. If its like 59 or higher that smells like an under.

First road game since dropping the opener to VA and they are terrible. It could have just been early season rust, but going to UT ST will not be any easier. I like UT by a TD here.

Dr D you are so right BYU's defense averaging 17.5 points per game and while Utah St gave up 50 in their first 2 games, in their last 3 they only gave up 11.5 points per game . I smell it to. Under 58.5. GLTA!

I believe the Dr. has this game diagnosed correctly.  As a Utah grad I would add that everybody in the Mountain West Region has two favorite teams, theirs and whoever is playing BYU. Teams seem to have a little extra motivation to kick the #*%t out of BYU. Aggies win and cover.

In their last 17 games Utah St. is 14-2-1 ATS. Their two losses were against Utah this year in the season opener, a game in which they should've covered but at home the Utes prevailed. And the other loss came last year against Idaho where the spread was -37 and the score ended up 45-9 with Utah State missing the push by 1 point. A lot of bettors are not aware of the Utah State train. They are one of the best if not the best ATS team to put your money on. I love Chuckie Keeton and love watching him on television even more. Friday night 10:00 p.m. EST game in which very few people will be watching and the spread under a touchie...

As the good Dr. would say give me Utah St. -5.5 Laaaaahge!!!

So far this year Utah State is 3-0 ATS when favored. Last year they were 6-1-1 ATS when favored. Look at the record, no bullshit. This team covers.

Utah St. has not beaten a good team yet this season. They just got beat by USC who is not in my American Top Forty list.  They both lost close games with Utah who has proved they are a fine team.  Utah St. almost never beats BYU--the only win for Utah St in the last ten was in 2010 (16 - 31).

I don't see Utah St. covering: BYU 16 - Utah St 13.

Exactly booyahz--How many times have they been a favorite vs BYU? Not very many. In fact they almost never beat BYU going back for a long time.
