I'm confused.  Some of you have mentioned that you are figuring Vegas set an artificially low line to get action on Utah.  Wouldn't that force more action on UCLA?  Or are you thinking that many bettors will see the movement from the artificially low line to the current line and translate the 3pt difference as value and play Utah?

UCLA has a better QB, a better team, and a better coach. Only way Bruins don't cover is if they show up non-motivated and sleepwalking. I truly feel Mora is too good of a coach to let that happen. Don't over think this one, Bruins will pull away in 2nd half and win by double digits

I believe the Dr. has this game diagnosed correctly.  As a Utah grad I would add that everybody in the Mountain West Region has two favorite teams, theirs and whoever is playing BYU. Teams seem to have a little extra motivation to kick the dog*#+t out of BYU at every opportunity. Utah State started getting used to it a couple years ago but don't think the Aggies have had their fill. Aggies win and cover.

That's the best analysis I've seen so far regarding this game. UCLA is trying to take advantage of USC's recent mishaps and the team bus being parked in the Fire Lane this week! UCLA should pick up a significant recruiting advantage in the City of Angels. However, you can't do this losing to teams of the likes of Utah on a Thursday night televised game. Mora is a smart coach and turning things around for the Bruins.

UCLA -5.5

If you were the coach for UCLA, how would you prepare for the upcoming  game?  If you made a mistake, would you except it?  If you want to win the materials you have, what would do?

I think UCLA will win and cover.  Prior to last year, UTAH WAS a very good team.  UCLA turned it around last year and is playing very good this year.

UCLA to cover 5 1/2 or more & over over.

there is a giant factor many of you are forgetting about... utah = thursday night home dog. the numbers speak for themselves. Playing thursday night is a huge advantage for a utah team that only lost by 7 last year to ucla. Which team has improved more from last year to this year? I'd argue that Utah has. It is tough to go against UCLA because I think Jim Mora is the real deal, but everything else is pointing me towards Utah. Still deciding on whether or not I want to pull the trigger here, if so it will be a small wager.

I agree with your call, the Utes cover here…  But as far as last year game is concerned, that game was not as close as the score indicated…  That game should have been a Bruin blowout.  I watched that entire game as I had UCLA -8…  UCLA scored at will in the first half and with his actions in the second half, I am thoroughly convinced Brett Hundley shaved points in that game…

With that said, put me down for Utah plus the chalk at the house for three (3) C-Notes please.  Thanks!

Exactly mikmak this line a little too low. Should be more like a 9 or 10 line. UCLA is legit...should put up 40-50 vs a weak Utah D especially against the pass. Utah O very "opportunistic" but prob not vs tough UCLA D...45-27. Ucla and ov for the medium

It's about time for Mora and his UCLANS to lay their annual egg. Wittingham outcoaches Mora tonight in a nightcap special. Michelob Ultra night for the colonel and a cheesesteak loaded a ton of jalapeno peppers a bag of salt & vinegar chips and the colonel will be going in for surgery tomorrow morning.  &

Utah - 32                                      UCLA - 29

Utes +5.5                             under 62.5

Party time Beehive style  Nothing like being with a Salt Lake City woman on a Thursday Night

Utes - Under

Just checked the weather for this game and it looks like a high of 40 degrees with a chance of rain/snow showers.  Not sure I like the over anymore.

On paper the pick is UCLA. But there are two factors making it a no play. THursday night home field advantage  and this game is being played at 5000 feet. You will see some gassed UCLA defenders out there. No play
