Dogs have the worse D in the SEC, LSU's power running game and defense should be enough to at least get a cover, not to say that Mettenberger is much improved ......

Early lean, TIGERS +3

Well this is one of my best picks ...Georgia will beat lsu by 10-13 points. Auburn exposed the lack of depth at defense ...and really uab-scored alot when they should have been held to a touchdown. . Big game in the dome det it all on the dawgs ...line will move to 6-7 by game time

The other game I like alot is Oklahoma -4 @ N.D. The beating the sooners took at home last year will be on the locker room walls ...The Irish well they are my team but they have little defense ..and are not as strong as last year (next year !!)  i have taken the points last two weeks and cashed in ....sooners by 14

Why doesn't the in depth matchup link not work this season?

Game isn't in the Dome, it is at home for UGA.  Both teams have defenses that have weaknesses the other offense will exploit.  LSU has a better D, Georgia has a better O. LSU has better STs, and Georgia has home field advantage.  All shakes out to a really close game which I will probably not take either side.  Too close to call for me, slight lean to the home team.

Not sure what the over/under will be but this will be high scoring.  UGA's offense is #6 in the country averaging just under 600 per game against 2 Top 10 teams...very balanced.  LSU has a power running game that will give Georgia trouble as they are soft up the middle.  Great game to watch, not so great to figure who will win.  I see this about 42-38, but who wins?  Probably an over if under 70 total.

LSU +3.
Being an LSU alum living in Atlanta, this is a must win for me. Lol. That being said.......
I think that the biggest advantage/disadvantage is the LSU WR's vs the georgia DB's. If the LSU o-line can give Mettenberger a any time LSU should have a lot of success vs the georgia secondary. Both have strong running games with Gurley and Marshall vs Hill and the slew of RB's LSU has. LSU may have a slight advantage on Defense. I believe it will be a great game and the winner definitely could win the SEC. GEAUX-

This game is very close. That usually means take the points to me, if I play it at all. I agree with the analysis that a lot of points will be scored. Ga defense is improving, North Texas score looks closer than the game (blocked punt and kickoff return accounted for 14 of 21 points), but that offense is not LSU's. Slight lean to LSU from a UGA fan.

Yeshhh indeed not always but not a bad way to look at it. Geo does a whole lot better when their expectations are dropped. Now that they blew Clemson game...richt prolly will take it to finish. I got news for you...it wont be against Bama. They will lose!! Geo and OV for the LAHHHGGGEEE

Les Miles taking a page from Saban.  2nd half last week looked to me like he pulled the string on his O purposely to leave hsi defense on the field, and they played mana to man, little zone, no blitz.  didnt see the GEO game but I understand they played sloppy and there D struggled... again...early yet  LSU for the SEC title  Im on LSU

True that...GEO more battle tested....however Les Miles could have run it up on Auburn as he has in the past..this year??  Thinking he may have a TIGER by the tail  lol

LSU may be the best team in the country, could prove that on saturday.  Murray is 2-6 against top 10 opponents and richt doesn't get his guys up for big games, IMO.  I love 6 point teaser parlays and will take LSU +9 all day.  Beckham and Landry may be the best WR tandem in NCAAF.  I'm not real high on Mettenberger but he is throwing the pill.  if LSU OL can keep defensive pressure off he threads.  Georgia's Dline and blitzing will be a huge key in the game, either way.

I think this will be one of the best games to watch this week.

I always like LSU getting points, but I think Georgia will win.  I think Georgia could win by 3 and push in the spread.

Maybe the play is over?

I watched the replay, UGA defense only gave up 7 points and 240 total yards while putting up over 600 yards in the rain.  Game score was misleading, that offense is legit, defense has some holes but looked improved.  After watching LSU against Auburn, they both will have trouble stopping each other.  Georgia has more ways to beat you with their offense, really, really good QB, RBs WRs, and TEs..  Mettenberger looks better this year but his lack of mobility may be a problem, the two QBs who did the best against UGA were able to escape the rush.  Damned close game but I am guessing the home team pulls out a tight win in a shootout.  Too close to call for a straight up bet., but great to watch

OVER for me     UGA  38-34    Three units

JROCK1966,

You are absolutely correct that is typically an indicator the lower ranked squad is the play, BUT I’m quoted somewhere during week one (1) “with Cam Cameron taking control of play calling duties makes me like LSU with all that talent on both sides of the ball to beat Alabama this year and win it all”…  I stand behind that statement today!

I absolutely concur the Wise Men in Vegas are begging for Tiger dollars just like they were begging for Gamecock dollars when they visited Athens (I avoided that trap).  However, I think the Wise Men in Vegas are playing the old Jedi mind trick on the public in this spot and it seems to have worked since 47% of the public are on board with the Dawgs.  Taking my hometown boys from Richland County, South Carolina to the woodshed is one thing, but taking “them” Bayou Bengals with their established tradition of EXCELLENCE to the woodshed is a whole nother "animule!"

With that said, put me down for THE Louisiana State University ML (+145) for three (3) C-Notes AND give them to me again plus a field goal with a hook for an additional three (3) C-Notes please.  Thanks!
