UCF - 25                                                 South Carolina - 24

Knights +7                                        under 53

I'll lose my money on Bortles rather than Clowney.

Knights - Under

Play of the week. Made money off UCF against Penn St but a talent mismatch here. S Carolina -7 but even at -7.5, take it.

Why is the line only -7? This game feels and smells like a money pit. There are no gifts in Vegas. Ill take the Knights for a small play.

Seems like a trap to me. UCF's D is nice. I'd probably look to tease this to a two touchdown total and take the boys from central Florida.

Well, well , the line dropped below 7, isn't that lovely. Listen up ladies, gents, and tweeners, first thing you do is pull your money out of those joke books that charge efffing 10%. 5 dimes is 5%. But you have to wait till they offer reduced lines typically the day before the games and you hit before the smart money moves the line by game time. Lots of talk about where the smart money and the square money are going, and that is really important information. Smart money pounces on books right when they offer reduced odds, so all you bettors out there I give you a homework assignment, watch 5 dimes and see what happens to the lines right at the hour they offer reduced odds.

This line is a big over reaction to UCF's win against a mediocre Penn State.  Respect that UCF is growing their program but this is a different league from what they saw in Happy Valley.  SC had last week off, reset their goals, and will come into Orlando to make a climb back into the Top 10 by year's end.  Cocks cannot afford to lay back, they will take care of business.

Shaw should have a good game both running and throwing and the SC defense will man up after getting rocked back from pre-season expectations.  They will get UCF's best shot in the first half but they are stronger at every position.  Bet the athletes.  Solid play.  Lay the touchdown and relax.

Cocks win by 13+.     3 unit play for me

Macallan is right. UCF is a good program that is doing a damned good job of mining that excellent football talent out of Florida. But South Carolina is a football powerhouse, that typically is in the ESPN top 20 recruiting classes. You have to be there to get to the top of the SEC. A talent mismatch and to get this game under that key 7 number is awesome. South Carolina is playing at UCF and the crowd will be going nuts, but that is the normal insanity in away games in the SEC and the excellent coach at SC will see to it his team is ready to stomp UCF. If it is hot as hell, good, then the SC deep bench will spell the starters while there is a big drop off in talent for UCF 2nd string.

There might be no "gifts" in vegas, but that is because the bookies are not always that smart. They do make the wrong lines many times, so in that sense, yes there are gifts....

That being said, I hope Central Florida covers. Got em on the teaser.
