Seems too early in the schedule for Wisconsin to be playing real teams.  I thought they usually feast on bad teams for another week or two.
I can see myself getting on board with WI both to start the game and at the half, unless it is a disaster then I may play AZ State at the half and just load up on free drinks to wipe out my misery

I can make a case for either team, this early in the season it is too risky to take either side so no play for me.  One of the better matchups of the weekend and will give good info for future games.  GL to all those who play this one.

wisconsin +6 (purchasing .5), both play solid D, but I believe the badgers offensive line will weardown the very good arizona state D line and by the 4th the badgers run game will be dominant, they win this one by 7 to 10,  I feel the wrong team is favored in this one, BADGERS+6 medium play

this is a night game, meaning the heat will not be a factor as at night in the desert is about the same as the daytime in wisconsin during the summer, only without as much humitity, the weather will not be a factory, the factor will be the wisconsin offensive line and run game.

Wisconsin +5 is the right play here.... WI is has a huge offensive line that out weighs AZ ST defense by 50 pounds, and I cam see the AZ ST defense wearing down in the 2nd half and winning this game by 10 points. Both teams are solid and AZ ST offense is no slouch, but I think their out matched in this one. Go Badgers

Why is a unranked Arizona State team is favored by more than a field goal? I think Wisconsin should be a 3-point favorite at least, so I will take Arizona State and the points if I bet the game.

Every week, every month, year after year, Covers posters react predictably.  People will find a few games every week involving two pretty good teams, see that one of the "good teams" is getting points ( ie WISC) and then take that side.  This is then followed by posts touting the superiority of the underdog ( Wisc).  Read above posts for examples.

I think a lot of these kinds of bettors bet mostly favorites usually so these types of games give them a chance try and "take some dogs".  The consensus sites confirm this on Wisc this weekend.  This looks like a dog trap to me.  Whenever "getting points" looks like a good deal, it is not, only wins about 45% of the time.

so you are basing your bets on the history of past lines in a situation like this? I will base my bet on the fact that the wisconsin offensive line will put a beatdown on the arizona state D and win this one straight up, my bet was wisconsin+6 as I will take what vegas has givin me, before I first saw the line for this game, I was thinking that wisconsin would be a 6 to 7 point favorite, to me the wrong team is favored, BADGERS+6 is my bet, but they win this one straight up
